Easy to set up. Filters fast. Had to remove and shake filter after
approximately 4 weeks. I just replaced it several days later. But we filtered ALOT of water. through it. We filter our drinking water and our coffee water. We drink alot of water and alot of decaf coffee throughout the day. It's big enough to make it convenient. Slim enough to sit at the end of the cabinet without being in the way.

I used this filter for years and it would go 6 months with no issues.
However since end of 2024 quality changed and they don’t last more than 3 months.
Even in the beginning it would cause delayed water release, which is normal first few days but now it continues throughout the months.
Found another brand, slightly more expensive that works fine as GE RPWF.

I've used these filters for several years now and have been happy with them but this time when I replaced the filter, I began to wonder what to do with the removed filter. I don't see a plastic triangle, nor does any of the information about the filter say they are recyclable or like ink cartridges that you can return to have them recycle them. Does anyone know? I'm have been putting them in my recycling and don't know if that is OK or pertinent.

If you have a RO water filter that doesn't add minerals back into the water using some kind of post filter, then you probably have some flat-tasting acidic water. With this alkaline filter, I fill my bottle with 3/4th RO water and 1/4th of this water and it raises the pH enough for better tasting and healthier water. I used to have the regular Waterdrop faucet filter before, but I like this one better, and the alkaline filter fits so I don't have to mount the entire assembly again.
