    I’ve been buying these for 8 years. Awesome product. Their quality went down hill. The actual black filter is smaller and slides around in the cardboard. It’s difficult to open. I will not be buying these again.

    Ok so many of the reviews say they fit well. That is true. However, to actually review this product compared to the OEM (Frigidaire) version it is inferior. First thing out of the box was that the perforation was poorly cut and the “cover” came off in 3 pieces resulting in the tears seen in the pictures. Secondly was the actual carbon surface area vs the OEM. In the pics you see my 10 month old OEM on the right next to the brand new Watermark on the left. Notice 2 things: the number of bends 15 on WM vs 20 OEM and also notice the number of visible crystals … substantially more after 10 months of use compared to the new WM. Long story short if you want to feel good to have some new cardboard in your likely pricey fridge ($1000+if it uses these) then buy these, if you want actual carbon avoid dealing with the return I will be making and buy the real thing.

    May be cheaper than OEM but when you open it up the “glue” that holds the fluted filter to the sides has failed. Thus the filter is useless as a replacement. I guess you get what you pay for, so if you take the risk be aware that so far I have a 50% failure rate.

    Compared to the factory filters I have been using, these replacement filters are terrible. The cardboard punch out you pull to reveal the filter material isn’t even completely perforated so you end up with a rips and tears. The filter material also shifts about because it is too small to fit the box. What a piece of junk.
