We began noticing sediments in the water 3 months after we purchased and installed this filter. I finally removed it and filter was full of plastic like sediments. Not certain how long we drank these foreign stuff but quite disappointed of what I found.

I’m really happy with these filters! The water tastes great and it is crystal clear. I started out with the base Waterdrop version but after looking into the different levels of filtration I decided on the one that filters medication residue. I generally like the taste of my water out of the tap but I’m worried about contaminants so I like to use a filter. This actually makes my water taste much better! A lot of filtered water makes me more thirsty because of the filtration process, Waterdrop filters do not do that. Installs perfectly, no reduction of water pressure, or blockage issues at all. Great product and very reasonable price.

I wanted to buy this filter, but went to NSF website to see if they had indeed certified the filter as advertised. They have not, at least not currently. Perhaps they did in the past. Currently, only the 42 certification exists on the NSF website. Waterdrop filters are manufactured by Ecolife Technologies.

Perfect replacement filter for my fridge. Water tastes great and comes out super clean. Although not mentioned on the packaging, I ran the water on my fridge for about 30 seconds to flush the filter, as well as remove any air from the water pipe that got in from the process of swapping out the filter.

The water flow is great! With the GE brand MSWF filter we always had a very slow flow. Just filling one tall glass of water took forever. Yes, we replaced the original GE filter with new OEM GE MSWF filters and still had slow flow. For that and other other reasons we had a service tech come out, and with a filter bypass plug he confirmed everything else was fine with our water system. He was convinced the new GE MSWF filter was causing the slow flow that we experienced with every GE filter we installed. Switching to this Waterdrop Plus, Model WDP-MSWF fixed everything! It has a larger center hole in the mounting coupling compared to the tiny hole in the GE version. If you’re listening GE, drill a bigger hole to improve water flow.
