This water filter is a good one with one exception. I rated four stars because is filters only the cold water which is fine by me however when I switch to the hot water going back and forth affects the water temperature. By this I mean the hot water sometimes takes a while to get warm and then hot, and the cold water takes a while to get cold if at all. So, well it filters very well and the water tastes great it does affect the water temperatures

I bought a BS08 filter on waterdropoutlet.com March of 2022 and installed it May of 2022. It has been a year and the water tasted a bit off so I ordered this filter thinking of replacing the filter. Come to find out I would need a wrench to loosen the top ring on the housing so I can remove the housing and I don’t have a wrench. Went on to Waterdrop website and started to inquire about this situation. The customer service rep responded immediately and offered to send me a wrench if I can provide the waterdropoutlet.com order information. Upon providing the order information, they UPSed a wrench to me at no cost and I received it the next day. This kind of customer service just blew me out of the water because this was not a high dollar item. Waterdrop had just earned a customer for life!
