    The installation of the filter was quite simple. I mean how hard can it be to twist & push. The first thing I noticed was the flow through this filter is greater than the filter that came with the refrigerator. I don’t know if that means anything but I like it. I did not notice any change in the taste of the water compared to the previous filter. There was no discoloring and right from the start the water was clear. I’m fine with the filter and I’d buy it again.

    Water came out a little foggy so I examined the box it came in and upon closer examination you can tell the box has been opened and resealed as the original seal was removed and replaced with a piece of tape. Not sure if I trust it to be a new filter. It was delivered on time but I don’t think I got what I paid for. I got another filter from somewhere else and it works great.

    I bought this for my Whirlpool fridgethat I have had for about 6 months, and the “order filter” light came on. The EveryDrop Filter 4 was around $49 everywhere I looked, while I bought this one for $16! I could have saved more money buying the multipack, but wanted to make sure this was quality first. I can’t speak to the longevity of this yet, but the taste of my water (after running about 10 cups first to wash out the filter) is fantastic! -Taste very neutral, you know..like clean water. -Costs a third of the name brand -Perfect alternative for the Filter 4 I didn’t buy the Waterdrop “plus” filter for a couple more bucks, only because I didn’t see that product on their official website which made me not trust it. This however is a British company, and yes it’s made in China which some folks don’t like, but it takes great, costs a fraction, and was a snap to install. Recommended!

    Works and fits in our Whirlpool refrigerator. Comparing it to the Everydrop #4 filter that costs $50, this filter is lighter in weight. Water flows faster out of the water dispenser, which could be a plus for faster refills or indicate that there is less filtration for the water to flow through. Overall, I haven’t noticed a difference in the water taste. I ran 4 gallons through before drinking. $15 is a lot better than $50.
