So had a rocky start with the water dispenser arriving damaged from shipping…not waterdrops fault, but they sent me a replacement next day! From there I think the unit I had malfunctioned after about a month and I contacted their customer service and Harper was the customer service agent assigned to my case. Let’s just say she is totally awesome at problem resolution and customer satisfaction. If it wasn’t for her I would have just said this company is trash, but they stood behind their product and made sure I was taken care of. They replaced the unit next day and even provided extra filters as a gift for the inconvenience. I gotta say most customer service reps don’t care or take the time to communicate sincerely, but with Harper she seemed to genuinely care about resolving the issue. Because of her I recommended waterdrop to multiple friends and they have purchased after hearing my experience. The water quality was also impressive as my wife would only drink from bottled water and never liked the taste from other brands of filters. All my friends know how picky my wife is with water and they were surprised that she actually likes it. I’d definitely recommend giving this water dispenser a try.

Like that this pitcher filters my drinking water. Liked that it worked great at first. Like that the charged battery for the filter last a very long time. Like that I have this upstairs for filtered drinking water for nighttime. Downstairs at this time! Dislikes that I can’t trust that it will stop when I press the button to stop it. Sometimes it stops on first try, sometimes second time or third and sometimes it doesn’t stop and glass over flows. I had to put this grilling tray under it to protect my cabinet.

Extremely hard to remove filter to exchange. They make the buttons unable to push in enough for filter to release. Have been working on removing for 20 min. Already have bent and almost lost two nails. Have moved on to using knives to push in buttons to try to loosen filter to replace. Previouse exchange was also hard but at thought maybe other filter was flawed. Nope same issue with this one. Will include pictures.

The water tastes so different. No more taste of the chlorinated water or some sort of metal taste in my water.

The touch button is very sensitive. And there is no dripping off water once you touch the button to stop.

I brought this product in Jan of 2024 and it’s now Jan 2025. The reasons I need filtered water were: I don’t enjoy drinking hard tap water. The taste is not pleasant and my body doesn’t seem to be able to process it because when I drink it I’m constantly thirsty. I tried buying gallon jugs of bottled water but carting gallons jugs from the car ever week became tiresome. I also wanted something that was easier to fill my cat’s fountains and the auto touch feature and handle made it easy to carry and refill their fountains when needed. Between myself and my cats we were going through 8-10 gallons every 9-10 days, so I decided to give this one a try. I should say that I researched water filtering systems for months before deciding to purchase this one because at the time the description led me to believe that the TDS’s in my water would be greatly reduced..however the description seems to have been changed since I bought it in later January 2024 to read that it DOESN’T take out TDS’, all I can honestly say is that it was one of the main criteria in my purchase and I am quite sure that I would not have purchased unit if I had seen that information. I loved the automatically touch feature but I will be going to another source for filtering my drinking water. Here are the reasons why… 1. It doesn’t filter as much as I would like. The first photo is a reading of my tap water in PPM (149). The second photo is the water drop with a brand new filter replacement (129). As you can see there’s a slight improvement but not too much. Which might be fine for someone who’s requirements are not as much as mine but for me it’s not even difference. 2. The filters are expensive. ONE filter is about $24 and I feel for that price the filter should take out WAY more than my ppm meter is reading. So I will be using this one for my plants but as far as water for myself and my animals, I’ll be trying another brand that says it filters out more (0) the this one.

A waste of money. Stopped working under a year later. Kept up with regular maintenance and filter changes. Whenever we press the button for water, it makes a grinding noise, then shuts off, producing no water. We put a new filter and followed any troubleshooting advice and still the same result. Very unhappy with this purchase!!

I love this pitcher! I bought it less than a year ago. It’s been working great and I’ve gotten so many compliments. Every one who has used mine has since purchased ones. But now, all of a sudden,
My pitcher is completely unresponsive to touch and I can’t get any water from it. It charges fine, but will not respond to my finger no matter how many times I wash my hands or clean the surface. I’ve had this for 6 months now and the digital on/off switch doesn’t recognize being pressed all the time, specifically when you are pouring water. So you’re filling a cup, then can’t turn the thing off, and all of a sudden you have a cup over flowing, counter full of water and are frantically trying to turn it off and find another cup. Consider this a warning to use by the sink.
The device is fine in that there isn’t anything really anything else but it’s 2025 and I feel like I should be able to expect much better by now. I’m a renter so I can’t drill into the counter and I go through so much water, having a pitcher in the fridge is even more work. I use this to one to fill gallons that stay in the fridge so they get cold but the gallons don’t fit under this so this device on the counter and I have to stand there for sometime holding the gallon in a weird angle underneath in the sink. It just feels like a lot of work to get water.
The one good thing is that the water does taste fine.

I bought it on Nov 04, 2023 and it worked great. One day it stopped working and water was flowing out from the usb port without any any any reason! The machine is not reliable and I don’t suggest it to anyone. I called the customer service but unfortunately the telephone line was not active or available…. New Comment on Aug 06, 2024: I called the customer service once more on July 29 and they behaved really kindly, gently and professionally and said they will send another device. On Aug 02, I received a new device and today I have just sent the previous one back to their company for further testings via UPS paid return shipping. I really appreciate their support and apologies and their behavior is very professional. I would thank them for the new device. Again, I state that Waterdrop’s quality was very good but the pump problem was a bummer and the customer service compensated it properly. With this customer service support, I recommend it to anyone.
