   This unit fits very well in our refrigerator. In order to fit our previous large water dispenser (Brita), we had to remove one shelf therefore diminishing the storage capacity of our refrigerator. Due to its low profile, just below the 10 inches mark we did not have to remove any shelf. We also like the long-lasting filter.

   This filter surprisingly is better than expected. I used to have the Brita that would filter the water as you poured, but they discontinued it. That filter still will have the tap water taste in some way, shape, or form. I started purchasing bottled water until I found a filter that really worked. Not only does this filter hold a lot of water, but the water tastes amazing. It doesn’t take up too much space either. I’m not sure why some people didn’t like it because that kept me skeptical about purchasing it, but I’m happy I purchased it anyways. It does explain how to discard the water from the first to fill in along with other rules. However, I’m a plant mom, so I used the water to water my plants. I would say the only downside is waiting for the water to filter through. After the first time you fill the top and it filters, you can fill the top again and put it directly in the fridge, which would filter while the water is getting cold.

   I bought this over 4yrs ago and I love this system. It’s the cleanest water I’ve ever had. Problem is, the tap spout no matter how much I clean it, doesn’t fully get cleaned. (Cleaned Everytime the filter was replaced) So the longer it’s in use, the dirtier it becomes.

   Well I tried looking on line for a replacement spout even a replacement rubber for the spout and I can’t find nothing on the company’s website. So now I’m forced to look for another system and one that probably doesn’t have an amazing water filtration system as this.

   Why? Simply because this company doesn’t care about it’s customers after market needs. I’m not buying a new system to replace something that I could have bought a pack of and been happy doing so.

   Definitely not impressed.

   *unpaid review. Water drop filters are amazing. I have recently grown aware of gut imbalances in my body due to mineral imbalances in water and toxic additives/ph level issues in bottled water. I have asthma and I struggle with histamine intolerance. So I can never figure out what is triggering my symptoms of illness. ❌One day I looked over at the water filter & there was this green algae in the bottom portion of the water drop container. I washed it out thinking it would go away but I didn’t have any peace of mind about it. Then a few weeks later it happened again. ✅I emailed customer service and spoke to someone named Krystal, who’s awesome. She instructed me to clean the tank with dish soap, and to re-evaluate after a few days. If the issue wasn’t resolved then, then she would send me a new container. At that point, I informed her this was the SECOND time the green sludge had appeared. Instead of asking for dates and/or more photos, she immediately sent me a new unit and told me to update her on its progress. I decided to buy water test strips to feel at peace. Below are the results of a water sample from my tap water, great value water bottles from Walmart, and finally a sample from the NEW water drop water filtration system. I will continue to clean the system every other month and test the water. I am not sure if this issue wasn’t a result of user error when installing the replacement water filter for the machine or if the machine defected but I am a customer for life! Also I do not put my water in the fridge, it stays out on the counter at room temperature which may allow for more contaminants quicker. 👀I do wish the company provided water test strips or clearer instructions on when and how to clean the system. I think more confidence would be built with their product with clients if they were able to see for themselves how clean their water gets when it’s ran through water drops filtration system. The system is relatively easy to clean but the ability to know when it’s time to change the filter is unclear, as well as the cost 💲 for filters is a bit pricey. ✅The larger size is awesome, less refills than the skinnier or smaller water drop options.
