   I moved into an apartment and this part of Florida has hard water. I decided to purchase this filter and see how it would work since I don’t want to waste time and money boiling and storing water inefficiently or pay the highway robbery prices at the store (seriously). I had to use the original hose to complete the line to the faucet which wasn’t my original plan but it worked. I ran the water for a while as directed and poured some into a glass and it had no taste at all, which is amazing because the spout in the bath smells bad (thankfully I bought a filter for the showerhead and use that exclusively). Knowing I’ll be set on drinking water for the 3 years is peace of mind. I went the extra step of buying a filtered pitcher and haven’t had a single issue with either. This part of the state doesn’t usually suffer from storms, but if the need arises I can easily fill a few 5-gallon pails and keep myself safe, clean, fed, and hydrated for literal pennies. I might be fanboying really hard right now, but I saw someone at Publix buy two big 24-packs of water with a smile, thinking he did well. Investing in a good set of reusable bottles would pay off quickly and the convenience factor would be moot since paying for and lugging those cases of nonsense is more of a chore than refilling a bottle or two and tossing it in the fridge. I keep one (added a pic) at home and it’s never empty so I’d wager I’m saving something like $10 a week in just drinking water, that’s $520 a year! I got this filter on sale and it ran me $87, the water bottle was $9.99. Get on board and stop paying advertisers and brands for something that you can access and treat freely with the simplicity of a Waterdrop filter.

   It was simple enough to install it in a few minutes, but I could not find a way to disconnect the hoses from the filter once installed. The way pictured in instructions does not work. I wonder what will I do if I’ll need to remove them later…

   One year after buying this water filter system the head connector stopped working. I contacted Waterdrop and they immediately sent me replacement parts, couldn’t be happier with their service. While waiting for the replacement piece we went back to drinking unfiltered tap water, and I was shocked at how disgusting it was. I now appreciate the Waterdrop more than ever, 6 stars

   So I bought this filter because it seemed like a high-flow filter with decent reviews. It came with the needed plumbing parts for installation. And although I wouldn’t call it “great-tasting”, it did improve the taste of the tap water. That’s it for the positives, now the negatives… First, installation was a pain–the filter body is much longer than anticipated. I have a “normal” size sink and cabinet, but to fit the filter (so I could remove/replace it), I had to install the bracket above the bottom of the sink, which was very difficult. Contrary to their claim, the flow was noticeably reduced, but it was tolerable to fill a glass of water (or coffee pot) without getting too frustrated. Honestly, even with these quirks, I still would’ve been satisfied. However, third, and most important, it is now less than 2 months after install and my cold water flow is more like a leak. As the attached pic shows, my 5 month old grandson has drool that flows faster than the cold water on my sink. The flow is, of course, unchanged for hot water. I tried re-installing the filter (again, what a pain–it is even harder now that the filter is full of water), but that had no effect. And with only the two of us in the house, it has been used a lot less than most family households. Honestly, I am going to have to bypass the filter completely, and go look for a replacement, because there is no way I am buying another filter every 2 months! UPDATE: Their tech support responded to my issue, and asked me to try “reverse flush” the system. This was also more difficult than it had to be, but I got it done, and that seems to have resolved the issue. Raised my review to 3 stars, for now… UPDATE: they ended up sending me a different filter housing and filter (essentially just replaced the product, albeit with a much smaller filter–11K imstead of 30K), which definitely worked a lot better. And when I was ready to replace the filter, then sent 3 more filters, but smaller 6K ones. So at least I am getting 29K of the 30K I originally purchased. I am raising my review to 4 stars, mostly based on the polite and responsive tech support.

   At first it was leaking, and the replacement they sent was damaged as well, but then I found Rebecca from customer service to be very helpful and takes care of issues right away, so eventually I got another replacement and now all works good no issues.

   Gave 1 star because there’s no 0 star option.
   Bought this filter 3 months ago and it only worked for 2 months. Water flow became slower and slower, cold water pressure dropped to a very low level. But 30 days return window closed and we tried reaching out to the seller Crater Shop, they refused my refund request rudely without any customer service or help. Do not recommend this product and be careful with this seller, they are not responsible for what they sell.

   Took me about 30min to install, but mostly because of my incompetence – a plumber would need 5 minutes. It’s incredibly convenient to have this tap and be able to fill filtered water immediately.

    Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The manufacturer of our fridge no longer makes water filters so it was time to find a new water filter solution. Our local tap water tastes pretty terrible and I do not want to buy bottled water. The filtered water from this system has a great flow rate and tastes very neutral – exactly how water should taste. I did not evaluate the water before and after installation for particulates. I would classify my plumbing skills as intermediate and the installation of this filter took me about 90 minutes with 75% of that time spent fighting the ergonomics of being under the sink. The hardest part was pre-installation removing our old crusty soap dispenser (to use the existing hole in the counter). This filter comes with everything you need (including plumbing tape!) to install, minus a small wrench to loosen and retighten your existing and new cold water fittings. It includes the cold water adapter as well, no need to buy anything. I elected to not mount the filter with screws since we have electricity on one side of the cabinet and the dishwasher on the other. I instead used command strips and tacky (see pictures) to take most of the weight off of the filter itself and provide security in case something bumps into the filter. My only qualm with this filter system is that my box had no instructions! No QR codes, nothing. Fortunately, I found a great video on YouTube that walks through the entire installation process (search “water drop under sink filter installation” and you’ll find it). Will update this review if anything changes, but for now I’m a fan!

    Fairly easy to install. I can taste the difference this filter is making. I’m pleasantly surprised by how well this device works.

    My tap water normally has a chlorine smell and metallic taste to it. I compared a glass of filtered water with just regular tap water and the difference is night and day. Now let’s see how long the filter lasts.

    I have this for two years and loved it for the excellent flow of water. But yesterday I found lots of water under the kitchen sink. Luckily it just started and we had a plastic tray covering the entire bottom of the sink cabinet. So no damage. The top part of the filter had a tiny hole spraying water everywhere. The top of the filter, due to water pressure, was being pushed out, it is visible, and there are whitish stretch marks on the black plastic. See pictures.
