These filters seem ok but they dont look as high quality in person as they do in the product photos. Mine were undamaged but compare my photo on this review to the first two product photos…its hard to believe they are the same filter. Anyway as long as they filter to 5 micron i guess how neat the pleats are doesnt matter that much, but what if the quality of the manufacturing also affects the filtering ability? Its hard to tell of course. I just use these after a 5 micron carbon/kdf filter anyway to catch any carbon or particles from clogging my water softener venturi so its not that critical. That said, ive had a lot higher quality filters than these ones before but if they do the job then i guess they are fine.

This item fit my GE whole house filter just like the OEM filter that came with it. Seems to filter very well, have not noticed any difference in water quality so I would recommend. Size and shape same as the OEM filter.

These filters work well and seem to perform like similar to OEM filters.

However, they are not NSF Certified nor is there any indication that they have gone through an alternate third party certification process. Most filters should be NSF Certified when used for potable water purposes.

These are good filters whick work about the same as the OEM brand@ . They will save you approximately 30% and work quite as well. Nothing not to like thus far, will come back and upgrade rating after I’ve been threough a season if it would change the rating!

This is a review of Waterdrop FXHSC Whole House Pleated Water Filter. The ASIN (waterdropoutlet.com Standard Identification Number) is B0DKHMWG6X. The filter easily dropped into the housing of a Culligan WH-HD200-C Whole House Heavy Duty 1″ Filtration System, without leaking. Our water supply lines are very old and carry bad tasting, green-tinged water (see photo). This 5 micron pleated filter effectively removes the discoloration and improves the taste. I believe that the 2 pack is selling at a fair price.

These filters feel well made and I like the folded style for increased surface area of filtration. I prefer this style over the wound string types. They are the right size and go unto the filter casing easily.

Our country water is nice except for the sediment that comes with it. This sediment eats away at anything that uses water. What’s nice about having a house water system is that it filters a lot of this stuff from getting into the water lines, making better water. Every month or two we have to replace our water filters. These were the perfect size for our system, 10” tall x 2.5” wide. Shut the water off, twist the canister out, pull the dirty filter out and insert one of these, carefully reattach the canister and slowly turn the water back on, checking for any leaks. When you don’t need to buy a lot of them (or) your storage is small, this is the way to go. These work very well. Very happy with this product.
