   Me costó un poco entender cómo funcionaba (puede que sea porque las instrucciones podrían ser más específicas) pero FUNCIONA! no sé cuál era el TDS de mi agua de la llave , pero el agua que me da el purificador oscila entre 80-20 TDS que es bastante bueno, cuando el agua tiene más TDS o no se alcanza a purificar bien te avisa con una gotita roja , el agua no sabe a agua de filtro , se siente fresca y sin olor ni sabor … Podría ser que se sintiera un poco más Mineral pero muy ligeramente, no ocupa mucho espacio y ya que le entiendes es mucho más fácil, purifica en 1-3 min unos 250 ml aprox … Lo que me sucedió es que no había entendido que cuando queda poca agua en el tanque rellenable la tienes que desechar , yo simplemente rellenaba el tanque , entonces en automático el TDS de me elevaba bastante … Van 10 días y nadie de mi familia se ha enfermado o quejado , me olvide de cargar garrafones, estaba preocupada porque no conocía el nivel de TDS y normalmente en la región dónde vivo en México el agua es muy pesada , pero me resultó 100% bien , purifica el agua 💧 perfecto.

   The filter gets stuck in the flushing step. The display shows 51% and does not advance to the next step. It makes a lot of noise and does not reach 100% to drink water normally.

   filter doesn’t have a fill detector and im not sure at how accurate the measurements are. also the filter sometimes spews into 2 streams which isn’t a big deal since it doesn’t stray off to far. But i can finally say that i am now hydrated since i have no excuse. GO BUY A WATER FILTER AND DRINK WATER!!!

   Its only been 1 day. So far enjoying it. Heating is blazing first. Although I am not convinced it’s fully cleansing the water. My tap water still looks a bit brown. Taste great though.

   Firstly, the majority of the exterior of the heating version(C1H) is Gray, not Black. waterdropoutlet.com should change their info. The non heating one (C1S) is white. Also, the Heating version does NOT include a TDS display on the panel. I bought the heating version knowing this. Where does the backwash go? It goes back into the water tank that you fill from your tap. That’s why they say you must always dump the water that is on the bottom of that tank when you refill. I dump before it gets that minimum level. So the 3:1 may be “ideal” but practically, not so. That doesn’t matter to me, it may for you. Water your plants if it bothers you. I bought a second “clean water” tank. Each tank is 1L, so once it fills, I can have one in the refrigerator. There are some nice cylindrical glass pitchers in hat you can fill directly- just make sure the height is 9-3/4” or less. I attached a picture showing unit and extra 1L tank. The 78 deg is probably my “room temp” water. I did a test, I filled up two 16 oz glass bottles from the dispenser. After the second bottle filled, It took about 80 seconds until the pump turned off. (ie I had the clean tank full of 1L of water). It takes about 50 seconds to fill a 16 oz bottle. I have it next to my Phillips coffee system so I can fill that tank directly. One picture shows display. It now defaults to 16oz, the size of my bottles, but that is easy to change. Instructions for new filter could be more clear….it took a while to get filter installed, I had to look at the connection detail to figure it out, then push and rotate firmly- I was nervous about breaking, so really wanted to be sure I did it right. Don’t worry- the entire backwash process to get a new filter takes a while, and a bit confusing and time consuming, but hopefully you will not have to do this for another 10-12 months. Do not expect to clean up raw well water with this. If you have a well with a water softener, maybe you could filter the softened water with this. I will update when I test the heating feature, and will update the rating if I have problems.

   I bought this to help reduce gH in my aquarium. It was easy to set up and start using. The TDS as listed on the screen is consistent with the values my TDS meter is giving. I have been slowly changing some of my aquarium water daily with this with the desired result of lowering TDS. I also used it for my cup of coffee this morning which gave a smoother drink than using my regular filtered water.

   Received the waterdrop RO in a very timely manner. Instructions very easy to follow to set the filter up for first use. The water quality is fantastic. My wife loves how easy it is to use. The functionality is very nice. Once you fill the tank with the unfiltered water it does not take long for the RO to fill the container with the good RO water. So filters pretty fast and it does the automatically. We chose this counter top for the value and the size would fit under our cabinet. Plus we want the grate taste of alkalinity water. Unfortunately this product was not ship with the alkalinity filter. I contacted Waterdrop through email. I ask them if this filter was the correct filter. The Waterdrop representative from the customer service, told me that this was not the alkalinity filter that should had shipped with the product. The customer service supper nice and waterdrop has already sent me a new correct filter. What an awesome company. This is a fantastic company and a great countertop RO system.

    I have installed their undersink model and it’s great! But I had to leave my house and wasn’t sure what to do. Once you do the research on PUR type filters vs RO then you don’t want to go back to them. Surprised to find the different models available for counter top. Since I think this company is great: quality of their stuff and ease of their filters, I decided to get the counter top version for my apartment. It’s been great as long as you are realistic in your expectations. Of course it’s not endless water like under the sink, but I fill the water reservoir and get about four 16oz glasses before needing to add more. That powers any gym activity I have, fills my coffee pot, or gives me a big fill up for my work bottle. Probably the perfect compromise on size and management, as a larger reservoir might be hard to fill up and load. It is in the back of the unit so slightly awkward for my situation. I do not use any of the setting such as different volume or temperature as I don’t like to fuss with gadgets and it seemed a bit more complicated than I prefer. Water tastes great, no chlorine or forever chemicals. I’m very satisfied.

    I did a lot of research before finally choosing this product over other brands and models. And I think I definitely made the right choice! I was specifically looking for a countertop water dispenser that comes with filter, instant hot feature, and has big ish tank within a budget. Waterdrop has pretty good reputation from what I know, but I read the reviews from more popular models saying the tank is small so they will have to refill all the time. I was a little skeptical with this one because it doesn’t have a lot of reviews. However I have to say it satisfied all my needs, I love that I could drink filtered hot water without waiting for it to boil, and average refilling once a day for a household of 3. It also comes with different temperature and fill volume. I am not big with tasting water, but I would say there is not weird taste even when I first drank it. Also when you fill up the tank, the machine will filter some water into the middle right away so it does look like the water is half gone, just something to take note of. The only downside is that if I need water for cooking that will take a while to dispense enough water for the pot. Regardless I’m enjoying using this dispenser! Update: just found out there’s a tank inside that already has filtered water so I can pour directly for cooking purposes. Really able to do everything that I asked for! Bravo
