I have had this unit for about two years. It is the second time I bought this same unit because I liked it. It worked well and the water tested pure, and it was affordable. Now it seems this model is discontinued.
I had bought more filters despite the increase in price, and just recently my current unit unit has started leaking, so it’s trash now. The new units are, of course more expensive, so I’m tempted to just go back to using a pitcher, which, at least for now, is affordable.
Water filter companies are marking up their products ridiculously, and in a time when people are having a hard time just affording eggs and milk. Rampant greed is ruining our country. You have to be rich to have healthy food and healthy water. Not singling out this company. They are all overcharging for products that don’t last long enough to warrant investing in such purchases, even if you have the cash. Disappointing. Aggravating.

Water has good taste with this filter, great for mixing with powders and frozen juices. Water chilled in refrigerator tastes good, maybe not as great as some bottled water but for the cost a great value. If your water flow out of the attaching spigot from the filter is slower that when you originally got the drinking system then you know it’s time to change the filter. You will visually see that the old filter is discolored, that is the filtered material from your water source.

These are great and I’ve used them for years. They are easy to install. If you’re a renter and can’t install under the counter, the countertop unit is perfect. But only attaches to the traditional type of faucet. I had to buy and older style faucet when I most recently moved. But that is no big deal, compared to hauling water in plastic bottles home from the store.

They fit perfectly fine. I have used several of them for the past 3 years, without any leaks or noticeable issues. Recently as EPA updated guidelines for PFAS in water, I looked for certification of these. I could find none, and customer service confirmed that it has no relevant certification for WD-4035. Lots of other waterdrop products are certified, but this one is not. Not even the basic NSF 43 (aestehtic), let alone 53 (health) or 401 (emerging contaminants). Hence, I discontinued. Original aquasana filters are certified for all 3 standards. And Aquasan filters do feel clearer/better in taste, however this is highly subjective as I am trying to compare my perception of a filter changed just now with the changed filter 6 month ago.

The product is good like before but price has gone up. May not buy this again $?$?$ I don’t understand why…

O-rings are smaller than original, causes leaks. Filters themselves are also slightly smaller. Definitely not usable in under-sink filter with line pressure. As painful as it might be to pay the high price for genuine Aquasana filters, these filters are not the answer. Returned these, got genuine Aquasana filters, no more leaks. As usual, you get what you pay for.

Came quickly. Great filters.

Finally found it necessary to shop for less expensive alternative to OEM. These filters fit just fine in our AQ-4000. Major difference is the flow rate which is double the OEM. Just hope the filtration is same.
