Easy to install, once you know it will fit on your faucet. It replaced the aerator on my faucet. Have to run water through it for a few minutes to clear the charcoal filter before using it for the first time.
Easy to use. Turn on the faucet, pull on the little knob, and it’s working. Turn off the faucet, and the knob retracts automatically.
Removing the old filter for replacement is not easy. I found the best way is to unscrew it from the faucet to get a better vantage point, and then use pliers or vice grip to try to get it started unscrewing. Maybe there’s an easier way? Once it’s loosened a little bit, it unscrews easily, and the new one goes on easily.

These only last about 1/5 as long as the brand name product. However, they are about 1/10 the price. (This is perhaps a slight exaggeration, but you get the point.) I pre-filter my VERY HARD well water through this cheap faucet filter before I put it through my very expensive Berkey water filters. I’ve been using my Berkey filters daily for over 2 years now without replacing them and they still work like new, so these cheap filters obviously work very well at removing the larger sediment.

Cheap water filter without serial number on it and water tastes bad compared to Culligan original filter.

Buying 3 refills in a package for the filter assembly saves money and works the same.
