I generally your place these once a month and they seem to filter my water well. I’m on well water so mostly what it takes out is rust and sediment. The actual design of the inside does look different than the pictures.

Arrived quickly in good condition because they were packaged well. Each filter was sealed in shrink wrap to prevent contamination and they fit my 10″ x 4.5″ BB housing. They appear to be made well and the price was great.

My well water is high in Iron. These filters catch that iron but leave a white powdery residue that started clogging up faucets and shower heads. I noticed the residue in my water boiler first. It floats to the top and the attaches to the sides of the glass requiring it to be cleaned. I since switched to a non coconut Original style carbon filter and the problem is gone. These filters are cheaper than others but they have this issue.
