We replaced our old pitcher when the filters were taking forever to run water through. This uses a battery operated water dispenser. We also have a countertop ice maker that sits close by . The icemaker in conjunction with the filter gives us ice-cold water on demand we love it. We live in a rural area and our water source is well water so this works for us. We have only had it a couple weeks so today I’m happy with it.
