Filter quality is great. I Compared our local tap water to the filtered water, and you can see the difference in the picture. Our city had a lot of rain recently and the city reported the yellow colored water was chorine. I’m excited to know the filters works well.

I’ve used these filters for several years now and have been happy with them but this time when I replaced the filter, I began to wonder what to do with the removed filter. I don’t see a plastic triangle, nor does any of the information about the filter say they are recyclable or like ink cartridges that you can return to have them recycle them. Does anyone know? I’m have been putting them in my recycling and don’t know if that is OK or pertinent.

This is my 3rd time ordering these filters and for the second time this has happened. The first filter out of the pack was defective. After installing it and draining a gallon, the flow of the water/water pressure out of the dispenser decreased significantly. After 2 days, the pressure was so low that it wasn’t able to support the ice maker cause my whole ice bin to be completely empty. I replaced it with the another filter out of the box, so far so good.

I have been using these water filters for the past 3 years. The process for disconnecting the old filter and replacing with the new one is seamless and easy. I have had no issues with these water filters. Once connected be sure to fill a pitcher or two to get the filter primed. Our water tastes great and these filters do last a long time. I set the reminder on my fridge to replace them but they generally last about 2-3 months without any change to the taste of the water. I think 3 months was the max recommended time before replacement? In any event, I highly recommend these water filters. I have a whirlpool fridge and I know these fit several different makes and models.

These filters are the same as name brand ones. Install was easy. I have a Maytag frig, and I added a name brand filter to my photos. Pressure of water comes out better too. With the name brand ones, it was slower. I will update this review if anything changes. I ordered it this morning and got it 6 hours later. Like Jimmy John’s, waterdropoutlet.com fast. Make sure you check in the box for reminder stickers. As you can see, I wrote the date on my new filter. I found the month stickers in the box afterwards.
