I have a Samsung RF267 fridge needing DA29-00003B (used to be G). These filters don't work. See attached picture. The locking teeth are entirely different. Mine are square, these are slanted.

I have had this product installed for over a year, I'm on my 3rd filter (RF15) and installed this on March 20, 2024. It's not April 25, 2024 and the filter has stopped working. nothing comes out when I turn it on. if I go under the cabinet remove it and then put it back in it works, barely, for a few minutes then stops again. this "Not working" happens all the time with this filter. but normally it's because it's getting close to the end of it's life, but I literally installed this just over a month ago and it's already stopped working. it's getting exhausting having to crawl under the cabinet over and over again just to get this unit to work. Ok Update7-2024: I'm Done. I have replaced the lines, the filter (2 times) in the last month and it just is not working anymore. I don't know how WaterDrop has such a high rating. This thing is horrible and just does not work at all. I'm over it and will look for a different brand and Never get anything from this company again.

Excellent product! I’m a DIYer all the way and I am so happy to be rid of the chlorine smell in our house water. I ordered a filter from another company (looks very much like this unit but that’s ok) and the threads on the outlet wouldn’t accept a brass fitting so I returned it only to have another sent with same issue so I returned that and bought this unit made by WD. The setup went well, and the quality of this filter and its weight will surprise you. It’s shockingly strong and beefy. Our water tastes awesome and our clothes and skin are softer. I’m super satisfied with everything. No leaks at all but even if there would have been drips at first that’s just a plumbing fix so take your time with fittings and use plumbers tape and I even use pipe dope after applying tape. Also, use the pressure gauges with glycerin in them. Overall, this is an awesome product!

This product uses substandard equipment which will lead to loss of containment... The quick snap that secures the water vessel is low quality.

I used this in the undersink, 3 stage system that is white instead of using the included CS filter. This UF filter cleans out more. It is more expensive and will also last longer than the CS filter. The reminder lights on my system will be off, but no big deal there. I set reminders with Alexa so she will tell me when to change all of the filters in my home as there are many. I am hoping this will be NSF certified soon............ Also, I think waterdrop should have some of these filters on subscribe and save....what could be a better reminder to change the filter than receiving the new one in the mail??!! And STOP LYING to your customers, Waterdrop!! This UF filter DOES fit PERFECTLY in the TSC system as well as the TSU system. I know, I have the TSC system. IT WORKS PERFECTLY!

Our Waterdrop X8-Alkaline Mineral arrived without any indication it was the Alkaline Mineral version. A quick call to Waterdrop’s excellent customer support (after 5pm on a Friday) told us we had the correct model as it had the F1A filter, “A” being for Alkaline. The next day, my son and I began connecting the X8 to our refrigerator using the WD-XT mini pressure tank and the LED UV Ultraviolet Filter (purchased separately), WITHOUT installing the Smart Faucet that came with the unit. Every fitting and part necessary for installing all three components were included. During the installation, we questioned whether we needed to use the included distribution valve, as we were not connecting the Smart Faucet. A quick call to Peter at Waterdrop customer support (on a Saturday afternoon) told us the distribution valve was optional for our installation. At the completion of the install, upon initial start up, the system runs itself for +/- 30 minutes (or about 8 gallons) to rinse everything and purge air from the system. The system works great with the refrigerator, and the water tastes wonderful!

Love it so far - but the under the cabinet piece takes up a lot of space AND we have to call an electrician because we didn’t know there was a plug in needed for it to work. See photos for our temporary fix.

I did a lot of research before finally choosing this product over other brands and models. And I think I definitely made the right choice! I was specifically looking for a countertop water dispenser that comes with filter, instant hot feature, and has big ish tank within a budget. Waterdrop has pretty good reputation from what I know, but I read the reviews from more popular models saying the tank is small so they will have to refill all the time. I was a little skeptical with this one because it doesn’t have a lot of reviews. However I have to say it satisfied all my needs, I love that I could drink filtered hot water without waiting for it to boil, and average refilling once a day for a household of 3. It also comes with different temperature and fill volume. I am not big with tasting water, but I would say there is not weird taste even when I first drank it. Also when you fill up the tank, the machine will filter some water into the middle right away so it does look like the water is half gone, just something to take note of. The only downside is that if I need water for cooking that will take a while to dispense enough water for the pot. Regardless I’m enjoying using this dispenser! Update: just found out there’s a tank inside that already has filtered water so I can pour directly for cooking purposes. Really able to do everything that I asked for! Bravo

I was shipped 1 new and 1 visibly used filter with water in the cap that was placed on it. Unacceptable

We own a similar system of another brand so am familiar with how they work and how to maintain them so when I noticed the water tasting "off" I ran a red dye test to make certain the filters were seated properly. I reseated them three times and both filters allowed the dye to pass through - one worse than the other but both significantly pink. I've never seen anything like it in over 14 years experience. Absolutely worthless filters. Regarding the rest of it, the materials are very thin and low quality. If I'd seen it in person I would not have purchased it, it even looks cheap. As mentioned, I own a brand-name system which cost more $ but in this case, I got less than what I paid for :( UPDATE: After the Waterdrop company noticed my review they contacted me with an offer to assist. I chose replacements which they promptly sent. They worked! The photos show the red dye water before filtering and the clear water in the mason jars below. I also tried to show the red and clear water in one shot so you can see its from the same unit. In all fairness, the stainless steel container pictured is not the Waterdrop brand - that one is at our summer home & these are the more expensive tanks we bought first. As stated above, the quality of the unit is in keeping with the price paid. The Waterdrop was a lot thinner but also less $. Regarding the filters themselves, they are also a lot thinner than the other brand but also less $ so might need to be replaced more often - we'll see. I don't know how to test the fluoride filters so this update is a review for the charcoal filters only. Quite an improvement!

I used to have one of those older Pure Blue 4-stage RO systems with a tank. It was painfully slow, wasted a lot of water, and eventually the tank broke. I could barely get 100ml of water at a time, and honestly, it made me stop drinking water altogether. The scariest part? One day I found a weird, white, elastic string floating in my water. It looked like silk or rubber. After some digging, I learned it was probably part of the aging air bladder inside the tank that had degraded and ended up in my cup. That was the final straw — I knew I had to switch. ⸻ I upgraded to the Waterdrop G3P600, and the difference is night and day — it honestly feels like going from a flip phone to a smartphone. • The water flow is fast and consistent. I make coffee, tea, fill two big bottles every morning, and refill my cat’s water bowl — no issues. • The TDS display gives me peace of mind knowing exactly what I’m drinking. • No tank = way more space under the sink, and no worries about contamination. • It does make a light sound when filling water, but it’s nothing compared to my old machine’s non-stop “gurgling” that lasted 30-40 minutes. ⸻ I hired a professional installer — the whole thing took about 50 minutes and went smoothly. I’m using this unit in my personal suite, and for a single person, it’s perfect. I’ve also been drinking 2–3 liters of water every day now, and the water tastes super clean with no strange smell. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve even dropped a little weight since I started using it — hydration really does help! ⸻ Before buying, I compared this with the X8 and a few other models. G3P600 hit the sweet spot for me: reasonable price, low maintenance, excellent features, and solid performance. I’ve been using it for a month now and feel completely satisfied with my choice. If I ever upgrade the kitchen unit, I might go for the X8 since it’s newer and faster. But for now, this G3P600 fits my needs perfectly. Bottom line: If you care about clean water but don’t want a high-maintenance system, the G3P600 is an excellent choice. Great value for the money — I highly recommend it.

Buyers of this filter system should be aware that both the connections on the filter are male garden house connections so it is impossible to connect the end of your garden to the filter. We ordered a set of quick connectors to hook our up. But in addition we had to order a female to female coupler to make it work.

The bypass system and looks is a 10 out of 10 for sure but....it only works on regular water hose and I got 7 ppm not 0 ...I watched "cars with keav" on youtube and he shows ways of making it work

I recently purchased this coffee water filter and followed the instructions to submerge it in water before use. However, I noticed an unusual issue: a sand-like substance seemed to be escaping from the cartridge. This has raised concerns about the filter's quality and effectiveness.

Good so far in my GE refrigerator. No error messages on the screen yet so it appears the chip is working like the original.
