  • I’ve been using this water drop filter for months, I regularly replace my filter and today I decided to test the quality of the water it filters. The device used to test the water tests the level of solids dissolved in the water, my tap water was at 120ppm and that same tap water increased to 172ppm after being ran through this water filter/dispenser. I am very disappointed that this was not only failing to purify my water but actually made it worse.

  • I have always been happy with Waterdrop products so when I started my search for a DI water system for washing my car, I was immediately drawn to this setup. Using a TDS meter, I was able to determine that my city water was 159ppm. Unfortunately, this filter system was only able to bring the water down to 14ppm at 1.0 gpm which is a little disappointing. Additionally, when I received the filter, there was a large whole in the side of the box as it was not sufficiently packaged for shipping by waterdropoutlet.com. I will be trying this filter again on the next wash to see if I can flush out any contamination from manufacturing before deciding if I will return the filter setup for a different one. Update: After flushing the filters with 10 gallons of water, the PPM has now risen to 43 PPM @ 1.0gpm flow rate. The water coming out of the filter has become white and is very aerated. Extremely disappointed in the performance of this filter. I have tried to reach out to Waterdrop and have not received a response.

  • I wanted to replace my old under sink filter (GS1X01SR) with one that didn't need a flimsy plastic wrench and application of silicon grease to the o-ring. I wanted a quarter turn type like my refrigerator has. This one looked like it would foot the bill, and it does, kinda. The main issue I have with it is the claims it only takes a few minutes to install. Sure. My water faucet has a 1/4" compresson threaded rod to connect to the water supply. This filter comes with a male 3/8" compression fitting (see photo). I purchased a one-foot-long hose with 3/8" female compression fittings on each end from Ferguson's Plumbing (Tucson). I also purchased a 12" ice maker hose from ACE Hardware (4334637) with female 1/4" compression fittings on each end and a 3/8" ID x 1/4" ID Union (4016988). These three extras allowed me to connect the output of the filter to my existing faucet. Total additional cost: about $25. The advertisement shows an image that implies you can just hook the output hose to your faucet. It won't work even with the manufacturer's faucet (which has a 1/4" compression connection)! The good news is it is installed and there don't appear to be any leaks (I'll leave the cabinet empty overnight to make sure). Other issues: (1) I used the screw template - still ended up filing the mounting slots with a round file. (2) When I inserted the filter end of the output hose, it would not go in to where there was only a 1/8" gap between it and the filter housing. I had to remove it and fiddle with it a bit to get it aligned, inserted and seated properly. I expect I will be satisfied with this filter in the long run, but I'm chafing a bit today for all the running around to plumbing suppliers (Fergusons), Home Depot, and two Ace Hardwares

  • I recently replaced my old filters with the Waterdrop Undersink Replacement Water Filter (2PP+CT) for my TSU-W 3-Stage Under Sink System, and I am extremely disappointed. After installing the new filters, the water became cloudy and had an unpleasant taste. I followed all installation and flushing instructions, but the problem persisted.

  • Love the Waterdrop RO, the company, the service. Everything is simple & compact. Fast replacement on filters.

  • Same item -- ordered last year (photo 1) and worked fine, was compatible. This year, the design is different and doesn't fit my LG refrigerator (photo 2).

  • It is very easy to install. I was very surprised to see that the easy instructions with the package made it possible. Before purchasing this product my partner has always complained of missing bolts or complicated instruction paper for our water systems, however, the D6 reverse osmosis water filtration system has made our life so easy with their easy-to-install instructions included with the package. We just had to read the instruction and boom it was installed in no time. To my surprise, it also saves the under-sink space because it has an elegant and stylish overlook, which makes my kitchen even more usable and now I can utilize the space even better. I also noticed that there is no noise gurgling unlike my previously bought reverse osmosis system and the whole process appears to be soundless for us, we enjoy every bit of our purchase. The whole mechanism of the product has been designed in an intriguing manner, which is one of its designing quality. It is worth it, my family loves it and we have planned to keep it for a long journey because it provides too many options on an affordable budget. I would suggest the D6 reverse osmosis water filtration system as the best in the market for its user-friendly design and easy installation process.

  • Found out after it was too late to return that they have changed the design of these filters and they no longer fit my Samsung fridge.

  • This review is for Waterdrop RO system. I have had this system for a little over two years. This is the third time a small black stuff came out of the dedicated faucet. I attached the video and the picture which are self-explanatory. Hope the company can provide an explanation and solution for this. It is very concerning. Update on Nov. 17, 2024 On the positive side, the company's customer service is great. Very responsive and offered a solution quickly. I will see how it works out.

  • This filter is not compatible with GE model #GFE28GYNJFS. The RFID supposedly included to reset the water filter replacement alert does not work. I am not sure why the product description says you can reset the water filter alert by pushing the “water” button for three seconds, this is not true. Can no longer use my water dispenser with this filter and will need to buy a replacement.

  • Converts to portable 3 stage drinking water system with just two other parts easily purchased from a hardware store. Great tasting water, easy set up, comes with water lines needed for under the sink hook up, and a template to help mount the unit.

  • I wished that I did this a long time ago. Compare to the one I was using it sucks. But the pink lid my new one was the best product . It was awesome 😎

  • I was skeptical at first about this filter as I thought I’d need the exact GE model, but I gave these a shot. I’m so impressed with the water quality and ice. Highly recommend these filters as they’re a perfect replacement and the water tastes great!! Water pressure is great and zero leaks

  • Seems to be a high quality unit. It includes a nice little tubing cutter and a few pieces of tubing for the install. I took off a star because there is no kind of mounting bracket included. I used a couple of long flex duct zip ties to mount it to my RO tank but it would have been nice to include a bracket or some clips to click it to the RO system filters.
