  • After years of a faucet screw on filter, This easy install under sink filter With just two connections needed, is a joy. The yearly cost would be a little higher but they build 80 to use parts off of water for things like pasta cooking and French fish poaching is freeing. You also have this little knob at the end of the faucet that gets in the way. The cost per year is a little higher, but it’s a great trade off.

  • I was originally concerned about the box for these filters as it is just a plain cardboard box with one sticker. I included a side by side of the original LG water filter with the Waterdrop Plus filter, plus a picture of what all comes in the box (3 sets of reminder stickers, 3 filters, and an instruction pamphlet). I had no issue following the instructions and installing the filter.

  • I am a big water drinker and never really worried about tap water. I finally just decided with as much water as I drink, a filter couldn't hurt. I really like the Waterdrop Ultra filter. It's easy to use and I immediately noticed a difference in taste. Some other water filters work, but takes forever to filter out the water, you just get a small stream coming out of the filter. This one comes out fast! It doesn't take 5 minutes just to fill up my coffee tank. These filters last quite a while. I live alone and once of these filters last me 9-12 months. The manual states for a family of 4 a filter should last 3 months. Can't beat the cost either, for about $70 I got the filter device and enough filters to last me 3-4 years!

  • Have purchased this brand previously, and had good results. However, this shipment, all the filters appear to be cracked and misshaped in the filtering material. Concerned they are not doing their job of filtering, since the shape of the material, and integrity is critical to function.

  • Really unimpressed by the piece of black tape on the external packaging (see photo). At least the internal packaging appears to be intact, giving me some confidence that the device is actually new.

  • We had this Waterdrop RO system recently installed by a plumber and couldn't be happier with it. The LED faucet truly makes this model stand-out from the other models. You can see the TDS in/out and there's a useful filter indicator. No need to look underneath the cabinet! Our tap water goes from 160 TDS to 25 TDS in about 30 seconds - the water tastes great. Honestly, the installation was a headache for us. We have a dishwasher/disposal and the provided drain adapter wasn’t wide enough for our drain. I recommend buying this piece now on waterdropoutlet.com if you have a wider drain and want to save yourself from a major headache later when you go to install it: ET116-001 Drain Line Adapter (DLA) With 1/4-inch Quick Connect Fitting for a Water Filter and 7/8-inch Fitting for a Dishwasher. We also needed a new outlet installed by an electrician - so plan ahead. For us, the install was not 30 minutes, it was more like a 30 day process. Overall, it’s truly a great, hi-tech RO system that produces high-quality water. Just be prepared, potentially, for a long install process depending on your set-up.

  • I had this installed by Metro Mechanical Services in Platte City MO, using a sediment tap and a bypass. Very professional! Water tastes and smells better.

  • I installed these filters in a 5 gallon bucket as per instructions I had seen online. I didn't do any tests on filtration with dyes or PPM detectors so I can't comment on those things. My water is pretty decent where I live, but I just wanted a filter to just go through one time for something extra. Everything seemed to be going fine until 7 months in when the filter component disconnected from the plastic spigot portion on the bottom on both filters. I mean the entire plastic part, not just the stem. One just fell off with slight tilting of the top bucket and the other came off with slight pressure to see if it was still connected. I don't see exactly how the two parts are secured together, but it doesn't appear to be any adhesive because there is no reside on the plastic part. The filter has a rubber-like part on the bottom. I haven't seen any other reviews like this, so maybe mine just had a manufacturing problem, but these things definitely failed on their own. They were never dropped or anything like that. Update: Waterdrop contacted me and sent me a replacement filter set. I've been using them for less than two months now and time will tell if they hold up better than the first set. I've attached some pictures to show what the broken filters look like. I don't know why they came apart, but I also have no idea how they were held together in the first place. I will update the review again if they survive longer than the last set or if these also fail prematurely.

  • Quite a noticeable difference visually on the filter from my February to May change over(I did stretch out my change over). I’m glad to see it shows me that it is working. I can’t say I should blame the filter for not lasting longer, since it shows my well water is giving me some unique water to my place. I’ll definitely continue to use them, just wish the price was a bit on the lower side for my own personal sake.

  • Good quality product for the price paid. It filters water quickly and pours a good amount from spout. Everybody has their own preference on taste quality but I would compare it to a bottle of water quality. At times I forget about the filter and when checking on the filter life light on top I’m always surprised that it shows not needing to be replaced. It sure does feel like it filters through 200 gallons before needing to be replaced. This is also in factor that I live with two roommates who are water fanatics. So high usage and still felt the time between replacements was extensive. Also enjoyed seeing the battery is still alive on checker as well as does not rot from being submerged in water on initial full fill on top after having and using for almost 2 years.

  • This is the best water filter I ever tried and the filters are very very easy to install very very pleased

  • Water tastes fine. The filter is 30% shorter and slightly thinner than filtrete

  • This review is for the installation only. This is very easy to install. I recommend you hold the filter assembly in the location you want to mount it so you can determine if any pipes or hoses cause an obstruction to changing the filter. I used the template to locate the included mounting screws, and easily mounted the base inside the cabinet on the back wall. The mounting instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The tools I used were a cordless drill, adjustable wrench and channel locks.

  • Being the first system of its kind I have installed, it was super easy with clear instructions. No issues with leaks after several months of use, and the filter is holding up great. This will save us hundreds in bottled water and we use it for everything from coffee, dog bowls, ice machine, water bottles, you name it. I cannot attest to how accurate the TDS meter is as i don't have another to compare. The lower water flow takes some getting used to but manageable. The pump is fairly loud but not annoying although I do wish it was quieter. Overall very happy with this product, and even with replacement filters costing $100, we will still save a lot of money in the long run.
