Used this to replace my XWFE GE filter. I believe the E in the GE filter refers to the electronic RFID tag. Used a hair dryer to pull off the RFID tag from the original GE filter as is recommended on countless YouTube videos. It took under ten minutes to do this with my son holding the hair dryer and me gently prying the sticker off. Taped the RFID sticker to the back of the fridge behind where the filter goes, Installed the filter and done. Ran about two gallons as recommended. The water is clear and tasteless. Works perfectly.

I've purchased this brand a few times, thus I've spent over $100 with this company. I happen to like this company for what they appear to stand for, thus it's where I wish for my money to go. I was down to my last filter a few months ago, but I made it a point to research new filters, as I wasn't impressed with the last batch. It wasn't enough to return them, but it was enough for me to realize that i don't like the performance of the old filer. So I spend many hours going through various options and reviews, and I found out that there was a new 'Plus' version with more NSF 'certifications.' I use ' ' as I'm not certain this certification, across the board means anything. Yes, there's a clear difference in taste between my tap water and the new filter. But the old filter has a weird taste to it after a few weeks. The old filer was NSF certified, but not on as many standards. Regardless, I place the Waterdrop Plus in my wish list, and I was excited to try. I reviewed my wish list a month later and the 3 pack was 20% discounted. I was ready to buy, but I looked again, and they swapped out the Plus for the normal one. How can this be, so I triple checked. In fact, my exact wish list item was swapped for an older model, which would have been a bad purchase if I didn't look better. I messaged the Waterdrop and asked why there was no 3-packs, and they said that they were out of stock, but to buy the two pack. So I bought the two pack, but in my mind, I'm still upset about this bait and switch. Mind you, the labels look very similar, not in my photo, but on the waterdropoutlet.com website, so they updated the old filter's label. They are not exactly the same, as "plus' is the difference. I swapped out the filer and flushed about 2 gallons of water through it. It doesn't bother me, as the water goes in the garden, so it's not wasted. I measured my tap water, I measured my filtered water particles per million after the flush, and I measured the water about a week later. I also measured drinking water so there can be a baseline. I have measured purified water before, and it registers '0.' Overall the taste is significantly better than the previous Waterdrop filter, but is dropping from 450 PPM to 389 PPM worth the expensive cost? Taste wise it is, but budget wise it is not. I am also upset about the bait and switch of the 3-pack that was in my wishlist, this type of trickery, whether is was Waterdrop or waterdropoutlet.com, cannot be forgive, thus I will remember what happened. I did like the message of intent (what they say that they're about) of Waterdrop as a company, but the performance of their filters appears to be weak or substandard. Most likely, this will be my last purchase from them, as merely shaving 60 PPM from my tap water is barely an improvement. I do not want to give a 2 star rating, as it would appear to be negative. Since there is a taste improvement, a negative rating would not be right. Ps. my water comes from Irvine water company, and I'm in a major city in Orange County. All photos are genuine and this is my experience. I has a similar experience with the previous filter, I just didn't post the performance and I cannot find my old photos.

My Waterdrop G3 stopped working at five years after replacing the RO. I reached out to customer service where Doreen was able to answer all my questions and provide a small discount on a new model. I thought that was very commendable, as my G3 was outside the warranty period. I researched all models and the X12 was the perfect choice. Upon installation and turning on the water supply, it started leaking. It then beeped continuously. I reached out to customer service and Doreen was able to send me a replacement right away! The replacement works perfectly and I’m super impressed with the quality of the unit, the quality and taste of the water, and its performance! I look forward to many years of use! My X12 is connected directly to the refrigerator, not the faucet. If you are connecting directly to a refrigerator, you will need a 3/8 to 1/4 reducer, which is not a big deal. I also recommend installing a filter bypass on your fridge, as the refrigerator filter will affect the pressure. The water pressure from the refrigerator is really good! In conclusion, Waterdrop is a great company that has excellent customer service and I could not be any happier with our new investment! Rest assured that Waterdrop will take care of its customers!

I brought this on a whim for a 2-day backpacking trip to use with my Sawyer mini. Previously I used my MSR handpump that takes forever. This thing was a show stealer. Everyone was impressed. Just dunk the 1.5 gallon (6 L) bag, hang it, and you can fill multiple bottles within 3-5 minutes. There's no need to squeeze it and it's quicker than a gravity setup.

Easy to install. Got my 13 year old son to replace, he had no problem at all. Was very much needed, big difference.

The filters are compatible and fit diameter-wise, but they are now shorter in height than the WD-FF-03A that I originally used. They also feel about 2 ounce lighter and less dense. This mean less filtering material. That means the filter will take longer to clog. It also means I will be drinking out of dirty filter that needs to be changed longer toward the end of its life that water. appears to be flowing through fine. It was an waterdropoutlet.com recommendation that fooled me, showing me a 3 pack at a lower price. They were not the original. model I used. It said compatible. I did not know till I received. they are smaller and have less filter material. This is the problem with waterdropoutlet.com. you don't. know what products are Chinese or generic counterfeit knockoffs . In this. case waterdropoutlet.com also helped mislead.

I have no complaints with these filters after a week of use. Compared to string wrapped filters, these seem to filter out finer particles. And compared to carbon filters, these don’t clog up as quickly with well water. They measure exactly 2.5 x 10 inches and fit my GE whole house filter without issue. The inner diameter is approximately 1 1/8 inches (28mm.)

In my first review, I gave this product four stars because there was no way to gauge where the water level was, so it was difficult to determine when it needed to be refilled without lifting the upper section. I emailed the company and asked if the spigot could be switched out. I was fortunate to receive assistance from the most helpful, most professional, and kindest customer service representative, Harper. She immediately responded to my email and went above and beyond to solve my issue. I received the new spigot and I cannot thank Harper enough. There really should be more customer service representatives like her. Because of her I will highly recommend this company.

I took some time to make my review because I wanted to really test this filter: Here are some highlights about my previous setup: It was a 3-stage filter that came with those PTFE tubing that really limits the water pressure and to replace the filters you needed a special key to undo them. When I saw this filter, It seemed like a great upgrade, and it was. Installation was relatively easy (more on that later); It comes with everything you need to hook it up to your faucet. Water quality is great! tastes even better than my 3-stage filter. Its super easy (like a 2 minute job) to change the cartridge. It is a good product for the price. It also comes with a very nice reminder that lets you know if everything is ok (off) it you need to replace the battery or the filter. Dont forget to reset your filter once installed. Now for what it can be a little better: 1.- I could not figure out how to undo the water lines from the filter (I followed the instructions to a T and it felt like I was about to break it.) This is important to know because when I finished the install, I had a small leak and wanted to undo the water line so I could remove the filter from my install. 2.- The hoses are proprietary (or at least I could not find something like it on my local hardware store) 3.- the male fitting included to tap into your water was a pain to sit correctly. I had to do it like 3 times until the o ring seated correctly. It was a great upgrade, nonetheless. Highly recommended product.

Works really well, fits perfectly on our fridge door shelf with room for 2 bottles of wine next to it. Don’t overfill it too much past max or it may leak through the pump housing.

Easy to install it takes less than five minutes to get it to work highly recommended especially for the price

Super easy to install, and perfectly accurate!

PROS: this water filter got received outstanding reviews from a YouTube video by water guru. This particular filter was only to aqua pure. He offers in depth reviews on water filters. He just doesn’t use that silly little TDS strip that barely measures anything. He goes in debt to determine how much fluoride lead as well as other solid in our water. With that being said, this is the reason why I purchased this filter. Although it doesn’t remove bacteria and microorganism like a reverse osmosis purifier… Rated well at removing fluoride, as well as many other contaminants from the water. CONS: as you can see in the picture of the spigot is almost touching my kitchen counter. It is a little tricky to put the water filter together, but doesn’t take long about 30 minutes and the customer service response is outstanding with water drop. I only had to call twice for questions. But with the spigot being so low to the bottom of the filter, its impossible to make a cup of water unless you put this at the edge of the counter. You can purchase a stand for it, but the height is only like 6 inches so you’re basically only able to fill up a small cup. It’s just not practical. Also the you have to purchase another spigot because the water level detector is an extra $30 plus the stand is an extra $30 if I’m gonna spend $200 or $300. I might as well. Just get a reverse osmosis water system and that’s what I plan on doing. Also, the water tasted sour and I flushed the filter with a whole tank of water there’s no sense in calling customer service again. The design of this is so poorly instructed with that spigot being so low. It would’ve made sense for the bottom water basin just to be a little bit higher so that the stick would be higher and with the standard would be perfect. It’s just impractical for my lifestyle.

This is my 3rd filter... they say they last a year but i have to replace them every 3 months. Yes, the water comes out pretty good. But filters are not cheap and don't last even half of they advertised time. Today (08/10/24) I'm ordering a new replacement for the filter installed on 04/27/24 See the pictures. One is cold water (filter) vs hot water (no filter) UPDATE (09/02/24) I moved my review from 2 stars to 4. Customer service contacted me and offered either a refund or a replacement of the product due to the issues with the previous filters. I got 2 new filters without any charge basically next day. I do like how clean the water comes, but my issue is the longevity of the filters. We'll see of this new ones last more than 3 months.
