UPDATE: We've had the Waterdrop for two years now and it's still working perfectly. I even added a third run to our Keurig coffee maker that uses an Alexa enabled Wi-Fi valve to refill its water tank. We no longer need to use filters, descale, or manually fill up the tank! We've been using the G3P800 for almost a month now and it's been good. I installed the unit in the basement below our kitchen island sink to keep the cabinet clear for storage and because the unit is a bit noisy. I installed the PMT small pressure tank kit which enables instant water at the faucet about 8 feet horizontally and 6 or 7 feet up. It also allows constant pressure to the icemaker almost 30 feet away which gives us clearer hard ice without all the chalk and scale. I would give five stars, but the unit comes up short in a few areas. For one, it should include a small pressure tank built in for the price which would simplify the installation further. It should at least include the kit. Another issue is that the LLDPE tubing leaves an undesirable "hose" taste when the water is sitting, especially first thing in the morning. It's not a big deal to run the faucet for a couple of seconds to clear the 1/4" tubing and "hose" taste, but our ice always has a slightly stale taste since the line to the ice maker can't be cleared first. Copper tubing is a no-no for acidic RO water and a charcoal filter may help mitigate the slightly off tase, but our freezer doesn't have a built-in filter. Finally, it's inexcusable that Waterdrop doesn't make a faucet in anything other than the included brushed nickel or special-order black. Really? The faucet is very nice (but contemporary) and seems well constructed, but our home has traditional polished chrome. Why not offer a polished finish? Instead, we opted for an inexpensive and much smaller traditional polished chrome RO faucet from waterdropoutlet.com that only required a half inch hole. It works great but doesn't show the filtration info. Regardless, even if Waterdrop provided a polished chrome finish, their short cable wouldn't have reached the faucet since Waterdrop assumes everyone is installing the unit right under the sink. One last thing to note is that the TDS does settle downward after a few days of use like Waterdrop support says. Our TDS was taken down from approximately 300 ppm to 43 ppm and has settled in between 15 and 18 ppm after a few weeks - a roughly 92% to 94% TDS reduction. Waterdrop, please offer the faucet in polished chrome and offer a longer data cable! The G3P800 would be a 5-star RO filtration system for sure.

Good quality product for the price paid. It filters water quickly and pours a good amount from spout. Everybody has their own preference on taste quality but I would compare it to a bottle of water quality. At times I forget about the filter and when checking on the filter life light on top I’m always surprised that it shows not needing to be replaced. It sure does feel like it filters through 200 gallons before needing to be replaced. This is also in factor that I live with two roommates who are water fanatics. So high usage and still felt the time between replacements was extensive. Also enjoyed seeing the battery is still alive on checker as well as does not rot from being submerged in water on initial full fill on top after having and using for almost 2 years.

I bought this 2-pack and didn't realize that one of them was defective until a year later. I had purchased a Whirlpool brand filter for my fridge and it was crazy expensive. So the day I bought that filer I went online and found this 2-pack for a much lower price with the intention of keeping them on hand for when I need to change the filter. 6 months later it was time to change the filter and I put one of the 2 filters from this pack in the fridge no problem. Another 6 months later, today, I went to put the other one in and it wouldn't fit. After much difficulty and banging my head against the wall to figure out why this one wouldn't fit, I came to realize that the second one was defective. See the 2 pictures that I'm attaching. The first one is what I have and the second one is what it's supposed to be. The little extra bit of plastic prevents the arm in the fridge from pushing the filter into place and allowing the filter door to close. I don't know how this happened, but it's not a flimsy piece of plastic that I can tear or break off. It is solid and on there permanently. DO NOT BUY THESE FILTERS. I'm batting .500 on them working or completely not fitting (and this was a 2-pack, so they should have been identical.)

I have been using their product for a while, been buying them, using them, no issues. So, I pro-actively bought a 3 pack way before I needed it, back in Sept 2017. I tried for 15 minutes to get the new filter in and it wouldn't turn. Upon further inspection of the old and new necks, there is a SLIGHT difference which is preventing proper installation. Note in the pictures, the right product is the Waterdrop that was in the fridge, the left is the new one. Note the difference, the left one has an additional cut that wasn't in the other version. This NEW DESIGN will not work in my ~15-year-old fridge. I sent an email to them, will see how / if they respond.

Best water filter ever. Have tried multiple ones you hook up to your faucet. Those sucked. Hydroviv sucked and was way to expensive. You can smell and taste the difference with this. HOWEVER. i did need to buy and extra part cause i have a plastic water line tube.

I went to reorder this product for my Samsung frig and this is what I got Model WDS-F27 it runs a bit smaller than the ones I ordered in the past. I put it in the frig and seems to be working so far. Has a funny taste. Video and pics here of the old one and the new one is on the left. Different numbers. I’m hoping it’s just a packaging thing. Like the taste with the old one but changed it out quicker than 6 months or it starts to taste bitter, after 3-4 months.

I purchased this filter for my Kitchenaide side-by-side Refrigerator/Freezer to replace the original filter. We are on RO water (highly pure) and because it removes all minerals, the water tends to taste flat. This filter remineralizes the RO water and makes it taste better. pH increased from 7.87 (slightly alkaline) to 9.84 (moderately alkaline). It adds 53 mg/liter of Calcium Carbonate to the RO water that otherwise has no trace of hardness. We will test the water again in 1-year and to see if the filter lasts or whether it needs to be replaced due to mineral depletion. Test data from RO output and refrigerator output is attached. for reference.

I brought this product in Jan of 2024 and it's now Jan 2025. The reasons I need filtered water were: I don't enjoy drinking hard tap water. The taste is not pleasant and my body doesn't seem to be able to process it because when I drink it I'm constantly thirsty. I tried buying gallon jugs of bottled water but carting gallons jugs from the car ever week became tiresome. I also wanted something that was easier to fill my cat's fountains and the auto touch feature and handle made it easy to carry and refill their fountains when needed. Between myself and my cats we were going through 8-10 gallons every 9-10 days, so I decided to give this one a try. I should say that I researched water filtering systems for months before deciding to purchase this one because at the time the description led me to believe that the TDS's in my water would be greatly reduced..however the description seems to have been changed since I bought it in later January 2024 to read that it DOESN'T take out TDS', all I can honestly say is that it was one of the main criteria in my purchase and I am quite sure that I would not have purchased unit if I had seen that information. I loved the automatically touch feature but I will be going to another source for filtering my drinking water. Here are the reasons why... 1. It doesn't filter as much as I would like. The first photo is a reading of my tap water in PPM (149). The second photo is the water drop with a brand new filter replacement (129). As you can see there's a slight improvement but not too much. Which might be fine for someone who's requirements are not as much as mine but for me it's not even difference. 2. The filters are expensive. ONE filter is about $24 and I feel for that price the filter should take out WAY more than my ppm meter is reading. So I will be using this one for my plants but as far as water for myself and my animals, I'll be trying another brand that says it filters out more (0) the this one.

Product installed very quick. So far very impressed with the test results from tap to purified. BIG difference in taste. Very small reduction in pressure but not enough to notice much. Very pleased so far!

I've been using the Waterdrop WD-PF-01A Plus NSF Certified Replacement Filters for my water filter, and so far, I’m pleased with their performance. These filters are designed to provide clean, great-tasting water, and they certainly deliver on that promise! I know we can't away from all metals and contaminants, but this really does help some! The installation process was easy and no tools needed!! Within minutes, I had the filter set up and working, and the difference in water quality was noticeable almost immediately. The taste of the water improved significantly, and I feel confident knowing that the filter is removing harmful contaminants like chlorine, sediment, and other impurities. Note: it does take a while for the water to filter through, so be patient! One of the standout features of this filter is its NSF certification, which gives me peace of mind that the product has been tested and verified by a trusted independent organization. I also noticed a reduction in water odor, which was an added bonus!!! These filters last about 6 months, depending on how often you use it - I use it everyday. Pros: NSF Certified: The certification ensures effective filtration, removing contaminants and improving water quality. Easy Installation: Just shake and pop it in! Improves Water Taste: Noticeable difference in taste and odor reduction. Long-lasting: A single filter lasts for up to 6 months. Cost-effective: Given its durability and performance, it provides good value for the price. Reliable Performance: Consistently delivers clean water for daily use. Cons: Flow Rate: Takes a while for the water to flow through and my filter to become full Price: It’s a bit on the pricier side compared to generic alternatives, but the performance justifies the cost.

I had this system for a little over 2 years. A connection inside the system came loose (see photo) and nearly flooded my downstairs. Luckily, I found it while constantly running and spilling water out from under the sink. Because I was past the 1 year warranty, customer support offered 40% off my original purchase price and a complimentary $30 water pitcher. No thanks! In my opinion, these connections are very cheap and the system should have an auto shut off leak detector.

Impossible to change the filter. 1st time I changed it i broke my nail and had to walk to multiple neighbors until one was able to take it out. Trying to change it for the second time and same issue. Very annoying. Update: they sent a new item, hoping to be better Update Jan 2025: can’t change filter on new pitcher that was sent Update: new model received

So I was terrified to install this. Not because my lack of skill, very much the contrary. Been a doing mechanical work my whole life. But that fact that I have had plumbing things in the past go weirdly wrong. The unknown stuff that seems to fail. Like old soldered fittings that decide to fall off, the gang of connections for ice maker, dishwasher, new fangled sink fittings etc. I was planning on something going wrong. It did not. I just took my time, did not force anything, went slow and thought each move out before hand. What was weird…the hoses and fittings supplied. They seem “flimsy” yet they are secure and hold and don’t leak! I took time to make sure all my existing hoses were clear and out of the way and secure as well for the flex hose weight that travels when pulled. The hoses fittings press into the body do have a lot of “wiggle" to them. There is a very thick o-ring in the housing body and I think that along with the locking clip they plan on it holding just fine. One of the locking clips was broken, however extras were in the pack. The hose must be some sort of pex with stainless braid is why it seems so light weight. Anyhow not a drop of water leaking at all. I am keeping my eye on it though!! Also the little timer was a nice touch. Note that the filter is “floppy” inside the housing. However it is sealed in the head unit. Make sure you have enough clearance to drop the housing and pull the filter. I needed the included wrench and the bracket screws with a large screwdriver for leverage to open it up. Used a bit of chapstick to lube the o-rings. All-in-all I am impressed and thing getting this vs a plastic housing was the better move. Water flow seems great. Happy with the kit. Take your time, think through your install, mount it last, make sure your hoses are clear, and don’t force anything.

First off, this is a very solid well built filtration system that does what it is supposed to do. I have lousy municipal water that would leave harsh deposits on my vehicles which have now been eliminated. The reason I’m only giving 4 stars is probably partially my fault. It says it filters 1gpm which it does, however I thought the bypass would flow a higher gpm. It does not, and it starved my 1.2gpm pressure washer while bypassing the filters. Had I known this I would have bought the cheaper unit without a bypass and 1” npt fittings and made my own bypass. Instead of being able to use the pressure washer for both the foam cannon and rinse I had to split the hose and run a seperate garden hose for the filtered rinse. I probably should have researched more but I just want to let others know what I found. I’m running a pre filter as well for sediment, chlorine, etc… to help extend the life of the filters as well. I’ve only done one wash and rinse so I’ll have to see how many gallons I get before needing to swap filters. Overall it does what it promises and I am very happy with the build quality and results.

The filter shipped really fast and it was super easy to install.
