  • I have no complaints with these filters after a week of use. Compared to string wrapped filters, these seem to filter out finer particles. And compared to carbon filters, these don’t clog up as quickly with well water. They measure exactly 2.5 x 10 inches and fit my GE whole house filter without issue. The inner diameter is approximately 1 1/8 inches (28mm.)

  • The first dispenser arrived with the reservoir cracked, even though it looked to be very well packed. I’m so glad I returned it and ordered another one! Totally worth it. I just returned it to a Whole Foods. Easy peasy. I love this water dispenser! The size is perfect for me. It’s narrow but holds a lot of water! It is only for me. I drink tons of water. Not like the average person. I fill it up about every 24 hours. You have to fill it twice for it to be at full capacity. It has to run down the reservoir and filter completely, then fill it again for a full load. I leave it on the kitchen counter. I prefer drinking water at room temperature. I highly recommend this water dispenser. The water is between 8-9 alkalinity. It helps my acid reflux. The water tastes crisp and fresh. Love it!

  • Filter works as expected. Luckily I was sitting outside my RV when the hose protector blew apart spraying water all over. If you install one keep an eye on it. I had only used it twice.

  • It was a good thing there are 2 to a package. The 1st filter caused the water valve to stick open and flood the kitchen floor. It twisted the ears off the end of the filter. The second filter worked only by leaving off the refrigerator-colored end cap. We have used this brand for years. The filters themselves work great!

  • It fits our whole house sediment filter perfectly. But it seems to swell up after couple of days in the water.

  • It has really good taste the pressure I'd good no issues with that the installation is really easy my son installed it for me I really love it would recommend if your in the northeast of phil or nj cause this makes a big difference

  • Just a quick comment while I await the sellers response: On the outside brown box it clearly states “COCONUT carbon block” and “ULTRA DELICIOUS “ my Maytag filters have never had anything like this. I don’t want “ultra delicious” I want filtered water, plain and simple I give 2 stars as one must rate before entering

  • I am absolutely blown away by this filter. The first photo shows the PPM reading from my tap water. The second photo shows the PPM reading after using the filter. It's "0" folks! Water was clear (even with the first pitcher which I discarded according to the instructions). Drank water out of the second pitcher, it was crystal clear and tasted great. So far, it gets a 5 star rating from me. I will try to update to let you know how long the filter is lasting me but as for now, I highly recommend this product.

  • Love the waterdrop products. Out of the curiosity, I cut a 6 month old PP filter to check the internal conditions. It doesn’t smell bad or have any dirt. Probably could go 12 months if your tap water source isn’t contaminated too bad.

  • UPDATED: Ordered on the THU, arrived on SUN. Received a box of four (4) filters. These filters have an unusual appearance (compared to other filters we have used). They resemble a compressed cotton but the instructions state that they filter to 5 microns. They fit perfectly into our whole house sediment filter canister. I will now monitor it and see what happens. Given 5 stars as of now, I will provide an update in a few weeks on their performance and update the rating as necessary by their effectiveness. UPDATE: I have had this filter in place for a little over a week, check out photo #6 (last photo), it is doing an incredible job at filtering out sediment in my well water.

  • Edits - December 26, 2024 Upgrading my review to 4-stars (from 3-stars) Reason 1 - The TDS output has improved with use, it will now get into the low 20's. I'm hoping that trend will continue. Even if not, low 20's is fine for our use Reason 2 - Waterdrop support is great to work with. They reached out to me and will send me a replacement filter to test/use. In addition they offered to send an additional filter that will eliminate TDS-Creep. After stopping the flow of water, the TDS values will creep up. I typically need to run our unit for 45-seconds before I see the lowest TDS values (incoming water is around 600, TDS creep ends up in the 150 range before dropping to my target range). However installing this extra filter would double my operating costs, replacing it once every 3 months, and replacing the main filter every 12 months. I declined their kind offer. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Overall the replacement process was a success; however, I wish the documentation was better and included more information. Most importantly, the old filter will leak water when you remove it. Fine a few ounces that were easy to deal with. Well, not exactly. Sadly that was only the first leak of water, it dumped a couple of cups worth after I reboxed it and was in the process carrying it outside. My advice is to put the old filter into a container (bucket) or into a plastic bag as soon as you have it out of the RO machine. Another tip is to put a small amount of plumber's grease on all of those connectors. I'm pretty sure doing so allowed me to close the lever with one hand (where the instructions warn you that you might need both hands). This was extra helpful because the unit is tucked away in the cabinet under our sink. I also think the instructions could be better thought out about when to take each step. For example, I don't see the logic behind suggesting you turn the unit back on before turning on the water supply. Operating 'dry' cannot be good for the pump. Finally, the other reason for a 3-star review - After flushing the TDS measure was in the 40's. This is disappointing because the old filter was easily getting TDS to under 20 and I sometimes saw single digits in the days leading up to this swap. And a bonus note in case you're still shopping for a tankless RO system. The GPD figure is representative of how fast the built-in pump moves water through the system. So a bigger GPD number means you'll be able to fill glasses, pots, etc faster than a unit with a lower number. If I knew that in advance, I would have likely picked another model.

  • I have installed their undersink model and it's great! But I had to leave my house and wasn't sure what to do. Once you do the research on PUR type filters vs RO then you don't want to go back to them. Surprised to find the different models available for counter top. Since I think this company is great: quality of their stuff and ease of their filters, I decided to get the counter top version for my apartment. It's been great as long as you are realistic in your expectations. Of course it's not endless water like under the sink, but I fill the water reservoir and get about four 16oz glasses before needing to add more. That powers any gym activity I have, fills my coffee pot, or gives me a big fill up for my work bottle. Probably the perfect compromise on size and management, as a larger reservoir might be hard to fill up and load. It is in the back of the unit so slightly awkward for my situation. I do not use any of the setting such as different volume or temperature as I don't like to fuss with gadgets and it seemed a bit more complicated than I prefer. Water tastes great, no chlorine or forever chemicals. I'm very satisfied.

  • Works as it should! Even come with month stickers so u can date them easy

  • I have this for two years and loved it for the excellent flow of water. But yesterday I found lots of water under the kitchen sink. Luckily it just started and we had a plastic tray covering the entire bottom of the sink cabinet. So no damage. The top part of the filter had a tiny hole spraying water everywhere. The top of the filter, due to water pressure, was being pushed out, it is visible, and there are whitish stretch marks on the black plastic. See pictures.

  • Used this for the first time in the Boundary Waters NE of Ely, MN where store-bought fresh drinking water is hours away. Wilderness. This system functioned flawlessly. Although the water in those lakes is some of the cleanest in the US, we filtered 4 days worth through this filter. Odorless, colorless, and tasteless. This system works absolutely flawless. Don't look anywhere else. This is what you want. (Can see it hanging from the tree in the left of the picture). Probably ran 10 bags of a gallon and a half each through it. It's almost weightless to carry, water quality is 100%, and it's about as easy to use as they get. Zero flaws.
