I have just installed this unit have not yet changed the cartridges. Will update later. Update...Have since changed filters many times. It's a little difficult when changing to not spill some water. Overall I'm pleased with the function of these filters. Side note It's a good idea to get a tube of silicone grease on hand it comes in handy when changing filters to keep rubber o rings soft. I stand by the 5 star rating.

Extremely hard to remove filter to exchange. They make the buttons unable to push in enough for filter to release. Have been working on removing for 20 min. Already have bent and almost lost two nails. Have moved on to using knives to push in buttons to try to loosen filter to replace. Previouse exchange was also hard but at thought maybe other filter was flawed. Nope same issue with this one. Will include pictures.

This product is amazing! Had to submit a photo after the first replacement filter was put in. We did leave it in awhile longer than it was meant for (almost a year), but it's awesome to see how much it actually keeps out of the water. I didn't originally care when we got the product but seeing the old filter compared to the new one makes a difference.

My built-in GE refrigerator stopped producing ice and water. The differences in the filter attachment areas may fit more products, but at what cost? I found out. The aftermarket 'saves you money' filter pushed a component in the filter attachment into a position where it doesn't allow any water at all to be filtered. The amount saved by using one Waterdrop filter ended up costing almost a grand - GE only replacement part, a diagnosis visit, and then a repair visit. Why so much? The refrigerator is seven foot tall, forty-two inches wide, and nearly five hundred pounds empty, so the repair requires two appliance repair technicians to remove it from the cabinet so they can drill out the rivets - no simple screws here- panels from the back of the refrigerator, install a very expensive GE only part, re-rivet the rear panels into place, and do a 'fair' job re-caulking the interior panels that needed to be removed. Comments based on some of the other reviews: Less filtering means quicker glass refills- but is it consistent over the life of the filter? I have the extra couple of seconds for cleaner water. The data shared by both manufacturers is right there for even the cheapest, ahem, 'financially efficient,' health conscious user to see. Similar photos have been shared many times before: yes the holes are different as well as what the filter actually filters out of the water, but how many reviews have claimed that difference.

First, I wanted to make sure I tested these filters fully as I wanted to make sure my test was accurate and correct. The other brand I tested did not work, so I had to use the OEM brand filter. The original lasted about a month or so. I have included many pictures of my testing Before and After using this Waterdrop NSF/ANSI 53 filter. First, our Water meter from the tap is showing 278 - I used a separate cup to test water from the tap (Yellow). Per the instructions for these replacements, I allowed it to filter but I then dumped the first batch. I then filled the tank with water and allowed it to filter completely. Using a new cup (Green) I tested the water from the fridge, and these filters are registering 000! So far I am impressed and happy with it. I am not 100% sure how long these last with the quality of our water, but so far I am very happy. These filters are cheaper than the OEM brand and this will help out. Our water seems to test much higher during Winter months so I'm hoping these will last for most of the year before Winter hits. I am happy to have found filters that work similar to the OEM brand.

I really like this waterdrop water purification system. I had an ispring before and there were so many tubes and filters to change. waterdrop makes it easy with few water tubes and two filter. Great system and would recommend to anyone

Was awesome for our 2 week long camping trip! 5 people shared it and it filtered lake water and well water along the way for us to drink and wash with!

Threads are not compatible with fridge (da97-06317A) and are clearly different than OEM filter. See picture-waterdrop filter is on the left and OEM filter is on the right. Hence product does not perform as described, and accordingly product receives 1 star. Shop elsewhere for your replacement filter

I’ve been buying these for 8 years. Awesome product. Their quality went down hill. The actual black filter is smaller and slides around in the cardboard. It’s difficult to open. I will not be buying these again.

After I used it, I cut it open to see how much of the filter was spent. I was surprised to find a big lump of charcoal? There was a thin paper-like membrane that I removed, but charcoal filters are a great way to keep your water clean.

I honestly do not have any complaints about the Waterdrop G3P600. My husband installed this system 2 weeks ago. The flow of the water out of the facet is amazing, faster than my fridge water flow. I was worried about the noice level as I hate to hear white noise in the background. This system is very quiet. The only issue is the water that comes out from the facet is room temperate, but this is not the fault of the system. I live in a warm climate and this is the temp of the water. I am very happy with the Waterdrop G3P600.

I ended up returning after failed attempt to install. This filter set is very heavy, about 65lbs. With that weight, the top hanger panel is weak and I have serious concern that it holds the filter set in place on the wall. Second, it has to be drilled to brick wall due to the weight. Wood stubs won’t work for long term unless you build support underneath, which is too much work and headache. The water connection joint is made of thin copper. I’m afraid that with too much torque to tighten it will break to cause leakage. It would be nice if they provide Teflon tapes. Lastly, the filter set is 5um, I should have get a 3um to better filter out microplastic and micro particles . More over, this isn’t cheap, there’s very limited option for replacement filter cartridge. Should get a brand name product rather than testing out this newly founded brand with zero track record. Their website has very limited support info and no warranty !!! Buy with caution and make sure you read their own company website before buying.

Product filter doesn’t last no more than 3 months don’t bother buying it to sad I bought two items, I had to use the other filter from the other unit. Water after 3 months started to taste bad and had chlorine smell and taste doesn’t last as it should. Now I’m stock with two units I wish I was able to return the one is new. Sadly I was hoping this would last. - 2nd review after inquiring about the life of the filter. I've been trying to submit a second review, but my app keeps shutting down, so I wanted to share my thoughts again. I understand that the lifespan of the filter can vary based on water quality, which may explain the change in taste we've noticed. We've been using the second filter since January 2025, and it's been almost five months. I’m unsure why the first filter lasted a shorter time, but I appreciate the convenience of having a countertop filter. After experiencing an injury, I realized how much easier it is to use this system instead of making frequent trips to buy cases of water. The convenience of not having to load and unload heavy cases has been a significant benefit for us. This is why I plan to continue purchasing filters in the future, as it ultimately saves us money and effort. Thank you for reaching out Mr Harper I appreciate your prompt response.
