So had a rocky start with the water dispenser arriving damaged from shipping...not waterdrops fault, but they sent me a replacement next day! From there I think the unit I had malfunctioned after about a month and I contacted their customer service and Harper was the customer service agent assigned to my case. Let's just say she is totally awesome at problem resolution and customer satisfaction. If it wasn't for her I would have just said this company is trash, but they stood behind their product and made sure I was taken care of. They replaced the unit next day and even provided extra filters as a gift for the inconvenience. I gotta say most customer service reps don't care or take the time to communicate sincerely, but with Harper she seemed to genuinely care about resolving the issue. Because of her I recommended waterdrop to multiple friends and they have purchased after hearing my experience. The water quality was also impressive as my wife would only drink from bottled water and never liked the taste from other brands of filters. All my friends know how picky my wife is with water and they were surprised that she actually likes it. I'd definitely recommend giving this water dispenser a try.
I wanted to replace another system, and after doing some research I decided on the Waterdrop system. This system was a breeze install, it took about 5 minutes. The switch goes up for filtered water, forward for regular tap water. The water flows out quickly from the tap or the filter, the filtered water tastes great. It reminds me a little bit of Fiji water, it feels "soft" . I'm not sure about the durability of yet, I've only had it a few days. I'm very pleased so far, & I would recommend this system to anyone.
The construction quality was not high quality and you can see that clearly on the filter .
I'm pretty disappointed. After doing lots of research, I decided to give this water filter a try. It was easy to install but when I started to run the water, these large yellowish/beige soft lumps came out, which has never happened to me before when replacing a filter. These were not little carbon or black flecks. I immediately put the old filter back in and tried to flush out the reservoir to ensure these lumps were not sitting in the tank.
Bought a Water Drop filter. It came with a cartridge that worked very well. The filter cartridge that came with the unit was nice and heavy. You could tell there was filter media in there. I ordered these as replacements. First thing I noticed is they were very light. After installing, I couldn’t tell the difference between filtered and unfiltered water. Gave it a couple of weeks and replaced it with a new one. In changing the cartridge, I dropped the used one and it cracked open. There was nothing in there but what looked like rolled up floss. Don’t bother with these filter cartridges. They won’t do anything.
This a great product ... refilling it is the favorite part of Bizkit's day!
Although the filter cartridge works as needed, it is not an exact replacement. The alignment of the tabs does not allow 12/6 o’clock positioning as with other filters
The opening on this filter is not the same as the LT1000P that came with our refrigerator. It did not fit properly on our LG LFXS26596S. The first two photos are of this filter. The second two are of our current filter. This isn't to say that this isn't a quality filter. It just isn't an exact match to the LT1000P that LG provided with our new refrigerator, and it didn't seem to sit properly when I attempted to install it.

A spin down sediment filter is a must before your main filtration system. Waterdrop is a trusted brand so you know you're getting quality products. I was surprised this came with fittings (compression and sharkbite type), drain hose for back wash, and the filter wrench for installation. Also has a spare oring and seals. Other listings picture these items however this seller did not. Installation is very straightforward. No leaks and a very impressive improvement to my water.
