Easy to install and with the waterdropoutlet.com clear plastic, you can visually inspect the filter.
The filters arrived packaged in a box with no padding. The box contained a single sheet of instructions and month stickers. Both filters were wrapped in a plastic wrap and have a plastic cover over the tip end of the filter. The filters are both crafted well with a solid body with no cracks or imperfections. I recommend starting with an empty holding tank because the instructions suggest purging 2-gallons of water before drinking. I filled my tank, then emptied it, and allowed it to fill again before I started drinking. The filters easily installed in their sockets with almost no issue. The twist to lock was easy, and very little resistance. The water is clean and taste free. Overall, I am satisfied but only have 1-day experience with the filters.
Compared to the factory filters I have been using, these replacement filters are terrible. The cardboard punch out you pull to reveal the filter material isn’t even completely perforated so you end up with a rips and tears. The filter material also shifts about because it is too small to fit the box. What a piece of junk.
This is great! For a FEW reasons!! I live in Southwest Florida and I drink like 2 gallons of water a day… I was having 5 gallon bottles delivered and went through like nine a month. I was gonna get evicted because I had nowhere to store them… I did my research And finally decided to pull the cord (with most of the filter pictures the cost was prohibitive to me because I was having to replace the filter so frequently) I purchased two of these and I am so so so glad! These are above and beyond your regular water filter pitcher. I’m not supposed to say the names of other companies, but I will say that one of the major companies, my cousin‘s roommate created so I literally had them for free and still the filter didn’t last long enough… These pictures have (a battery powered ?) light on the top, which tells you when your filter is going to get low and needs to be replaced… Hoping that works, will check back in when the timing is appropriate on that… HUGE cool thing… there is a hole on the top of the pitcher (with a clear lid that auto closes) so you don’t have to take the top off the picture to fill it up!!! Where I live on this tiny island, the water is disgusting! There’s things floating in it that you can see when poured out of the tap… These pictures have filtered them perfectly. I make ice with the water. I drink the water. I make protein shakes with the water and about two weeks in so far it’s been great! The only negative is the color is off… It’s NOT as pictured pink more like a dull coral .. but as far as how they work 5 stars!!
First off, this is a very solid well built filtration system that does what it is supposed to do. I have lousy municipal water that would leave harsh deposits on my vehicles which have now been eliminated. The reason I’m only giving 4 stars is probably partially my fault. It says it filters 1gpm which it does, however I thought the bypass would flow a higher gpm. It does not, and it starved my 1.2gpm pressure washer while bypassing the filters. Had I known this I would have bought the cheaper unit without a bypass and 1” npt fittings and made my own bypass. Instead of being able to use the pressure washer for both the foam cannon and rinse I had to split the hose and run a seperate garden hose for the filtered rinse. I probably should have researched more but I just want to let others know what I found. I’m running a pre filter as well for sediment, chlorine, etc… to help extend the life of the filters as well. I’ve only done one wash and rinse so I’ll have to see how many gallons I get before needing to swap filters. Overall it does what it promises and I am very happy with the build quality and results.

Good taste on water. Setup with the under sink waterdrop filter system. Water taste good no leakage found . Easy installation. Feels perfect.

Our country water is nice except for the sediment that comes with it. This sediment eats away at anything that uses water. What’s nice about having a house water system is that it filters a lot of this stuff from getting into the water lines, making better water. Every month or two we have to replace our water filters. These were the perfect size for our system, 10” tall x 2.5” wide. Shut the water off, twist the canister out, pull the dirty filter out and insert one of these, carefully reattach the canister and slowly turn the water back on, checking for any leaks. When you don’t need to buy a lot of them (or) your storage is small, this is the way to go. These work very well. Very happy with this product.
Installation was easy, but the plastic female threads kept leaking. Finally I got some pipe dope and got rid of the Teflon tape, and it had a tiny drip for a bit that stopped. We have well water, with a sediment filter and water softener before these filters. These were changed after 8 months, so I guess I should be changing them sooner! The previous owner had NO filters, which I saw the aftermath of when I replaced all of the water lines starting at the well inlet. Definitely worth the investment, they function as intended, but could use improvements on the threaded connections/build quality.
I bought it on Nov 04, 2023 and it worked great. One day it stopped working and water was flowing out from the usb port without any any any reason! The machine is not reliable and I don’t suggest it to anyone. I called the customer service but unfortunately the telephone line was not active or available…. New Comment on Aug 06, 2024: I called the customer service once more on July 29 and they behaved really kindly, gently and professionally and said they will send another device. On Aug 02, I received a new device and today I have just sent the previous one back to their company for further testings via UPS paid return shipping. I really appreciate their support and apologies and their behavior is very professional. I would thank them for the new device. Again, I state that Waterdrop’s quality was very good but the pump problem was a bummer and the customer service compensated it properly. With this customer service support, I recommend it to anyone.
We used our last filter for over a year with no problems but had to replace it, so we purchased this through waterdropoutlet.com. After installing it, we followed instructions and flushed it for a while. However, after about 1 month of use, all of these fish-food-looking flakes started to appear. I have no idea what they are, but they do not come from the tap water, so there is clearly some sort of contaminant in the filter. It’s disgusting because if I filled my stainless steel water bottle, I would not be able to see it!
Brought it backpacking instead of the small sawyer pump we usually carry. It was easy to clip this to the outside of the pack so it’s accessible when you come across a water source. The bag seems to be durable and held up through a week in Corsica.
Great Over all . Make sure to rinse your filters for at least 3 minutes. I didn’t so I had to dump about 5 gallons of filtered water. But for the money it’s great. Make sure to get some red dye so you can check for leaks. The nozzle that fits over the kitchen sink faucet is super handy. Have to purchase separately.
Value for money for sure! Super easy to clean and doesn’t leak. I use it everyday twice a day. Morning and before bed. It lives in my bed room and I just moved it to my office. The taste is okay-ish. That’s the reason I took a star off, that and it’s pretty darn loud when working. Even when I change cups. But that’s ok. I really really enjoy it.
