Love it, easy, straightforward setup. Placed in the fridge and now theres cold filtered water on demand.
I have a five year filter in front of my cold side for my kitchen sink. The manufacturer of the five year filter sent for free the filter holder to put in front of it since I am on Phoenix AZ city water. I am thrilled with the savings over bottled water and the taste this system provides. I don't get five years out of my main filter but at least 3 using these filters inline. I do not have a separate water dispenser, all cold water coming out of my sink faucet is filtered so use is heavy. All water for cooking, pets and the line going to my refrigerator ice and cold water as well. Will purchase these filters again.
Noticeable Improvement In Water Quality and Taste Pros: Filtration is outstanding. Our water had a very strong chlorine smell. After installing the filter and letting it run for 10 minutes (per instructions) before drinking the water, we noticed the following: Water is crystal clear and tastes neutral. Not even the slightest hint of Chlorine odor. It is also better priced than other similar items. Cons: Wish it came in white color.
The connector looks like it should have a gasket, but none was included in my package. I was able to reduce the dripping by wrapping tape around the connector before inserting. I was then able to filter approximately 1 gallon of lake water per minute. UPDATE: Waterdrop customer support provided a replacement unit to me that included the missing gasket. It works quite well now. I highly recommend this gravity water filter now, just be sure to test the product and verify it includes a gasket before heading into the wilderness.
Received the waterdrop RO in a very timely manner. Instructions very easy to follow to set the filter up for first use. The water quality is fantastic. My wife loves how easy it is to use. The functionality is very nice. Once you fill the tank with the unfiltered water it does not take long for the RO to fill the container with the good RO water. So filters pretty fast and it does the automatically. We chose this counter top for the value and the size would fit under our cabinet. Plus we want the grate taste of alkalinity water. Unfortunately this product was not ship with the alkalinity filter. I contacted Waterdrop through email. I ask them if this filter was the correct filter. The Waterdrop representative from the customer service, told me that this was not the alkalinity filter that should had shipped with the product. The customer service supper nice and waterdrop has already sent me a new correct filter. What an awesome company. This is a fantastic company and a great countertop RO system.
Pros: 1)perfect size for my small kitchen, or even my fridge to keep cool water during summers. 2) water tastes incredibly improved. 3) easy to use, easy to fill, and easy to clean! Cons: 1) unreliable blue light button indicator. I started counting the acuracy of the blue light button from the very begining. I would fill the top filter reservoir with 0.5 gallons at a time. Followed instructions on the blue button, but also kept a count on how many gallons i filtered on my phone. The solid red light appeared exactly 7 weeks, at only 51 gallons of use. It certainly has not been 3 months, nor 200 gallons. So, it is inaccurate. I'd suggest keeping track of gallons filtered like i do. I'll repost once i reach 200 gallons for the taste difference and quality.
I have been happy with this product for about 1.5 years. However, I awoke to a flooded kitchen because the filter unit cracked wide open (see photo). Save yourself the potential heartache of a destroyed kitchen and look elsewhere.
Water came out a little foggy so I examined the box it came in and upon closer examination you can tell the box has been opened and resealed as the original seal was removed and replaced with a piece of tape. Not sure if I trust it to be a new filter. It was delivered on time but I don’t think I got what I paid for. I got another filter from somewhere else and it works great.
The first one was leaking from the inlet port , got a replacement and was leaking from the pressure release button and outlet and inlet ports, INSTRUCTIONS SAY AT LEAST TEN TURNS OF TEFLON, I did 18 turns on each side plus Blue monster Pipe dope, no more leaks after that, water taste good and the pressure it’s really good , I cause headaches because leaks a lot but you can fix it , it worth the money, easy to install and works perfect , I recommend bypass valves before and after the housing
The bottom connector gasket thing leaks and there is not enough pressure to push water through the filter. Completely defective. Returned for my money back.
These filters feel well made and I like the folded style for increased surface area of filtration. I prefer this style over the wound string types. They are the right size and go unto the filter casing easily.
all 7 of us used it thru out our trip and i have used it on multiple trips since super easy detachable hose and durable light weight bag that does not puncture easy mostly hung it on tree branches and had no issues
The filter was the right size but still had to compare it to the original for verification.
Stupid update will not work. Pictures on ad lie. Second company to make this change without updating pictures. Does not fit. Very angry.
This product has the same part number as what I am looking for but it won’t fit my Thermodar freezer. The design at the top part is different from my current water filter and still use the same part number. I am not the only one; a lot of people have had the same problems. I reordered other filters from waterdropoutlet.com and had to return one of those filters as they had the same design change. But! Try searching for ‘Made in the USA, 9000 077104 Refrigerator Water Filter 2-pk | Replacement for Bosch 644845, REPLFLTR10, UltraClarity, 644845, 9000194412, 740570, 9000077095, 9000193914, USWF Fridge Filter’. This one still carries the same top design and fits my Thermodar freezer perfectly!
