I don’t have a water dispenser in my fridge, so I tried a Brita (which broke within a few months) and ended up buying bottled gallons (which were a pain), and my sink head is a spray, so it doesn’t not work with the filtered heads. My fiancé was fed up with the water source at my house and told me to get a water dispenser. Sooo, this is the one I decided on, and it’s been the best purchase of the year! I bought the gallon size. Now I can easily track how much water I am drinking a day by looking at how much I have left. It encourages me to try to drink the full gallon. The water tastes so clean and pure, and it easily dispenses into my cups. I’m so glad I have this in my home. :)

Looks 100% identical to the pre filter, does not look anything like advertised pictures. I would love to open it to see whats inside but afraid to not have an eligible return. Hopefuly waterdrop contacts me to assure me im wrong but see for yourself.

OK, first the good then the bad. 1) Solid brass top … someone is thinking, plastic is totally unacceptable, plastic with inserts is unacceptable, stainless steel sounds nice but unless the threads are perfect … it will leak. 2) Thick poly shell. Great idea but mine is either deeply scratched or cracked out of the box (photo). I think it’s a deep scratch but I can’t tell. I will need to waste 45 minutes getting to a buffer, buffing it, getting home just to tell if it’s OK or junk. 3) Fittings … they tried but I can almost guarantee you will be going to the big box store for what you need. That’s not a serious fault; it’s just reality. Now for the issues. 4) Is that a crack or a scratch … I can’t tell. As is, I would never install it and find it has blown apart and done $85,000 water damage to my home. 5) INSANELY TIGHT ! They included a 4 point spanner but I couldn’t get the shell to loosen. I had to clamp it in a vice and use a steel extension bar to get it loose. You would probably tare your plumbing out of the wall if you did this “in place”. Why is it so crazy tight, continue to #6. 6) The seal and problem with the tightness is a single O-ring on the diameter of the shell. They should have included a simple flat silicon gasket between the top of the shell and the base of the brass head. A $0.20 gasket would have bought a lot of insurance and made a perfect seal. I really wanted to like this based on the description but there are some issues I can’t get past. Simple fixes but I’m tired of re-engineering everything I get anymore. If I find it’s a scratch on the shell rather than a crack, I’ll move to a 3. If it’s a crack, it’s a 1 and going into the trash.

It is not 100% good, but it made it good enough we didn't have to buy water anymore.

I bought this to help reduce gH in my aquarium. It was easy to set up and start using. The TDS as listed on the screen is consistent with the values my TDS meter is giving. I have been slowly changing some of my aquarium water daily with this with the desired result of lowering TDS. I also used it for my cup of coffee this morning which gave a smoother drink than using my regular filtered water.

my old model # wd-8171413 for kenmore 46-9002 doesn't accept this new currently same model # wd-8171413 anymore. due to redesigning the neck part as new revision doesn't work on my kenmore mft date: 2003 anymore. why they've claimed the same model # between old and new even i tried my best to install NEW one but nothing work so i re-installed the OLD one without issue. wasted my time to return and lost some $.

The units were a fit for my DuPont WFQT130005 Quicktwist Single Stage Drinking Filtration System USF-201, came in one business day awesome, wife needed was getting nausea drinking our water and this filter fix that problem. water taste way better now I guess it was time to change the filter.

I really don't understand how this product can have all the positive reviews it does when it is so different from a real Bosch filter. It LEAKS! It doesn't have the same fastening system, and it's different in the key part that's not shown on the product page - where the water goes in and comes out. I've never had a problem with Bosch Ultra Clarity filters - but they are significantly more expensive. This filter apparently is made in the People's Republic of China. Not sure I'd trust anything about this filter including the supposed NSF testing after seeing how the company thinks it can "sort of copy" the Bosch filter. Well, after I put it in my Bosch fridge, there's a slow leak into the refrigerator itself as well as at the water dispenser. Going back where it came. Take a look at the photos I've posted: the plastic mechanism that guides the filter in is different - it's 2 separate plastic pieces with a gap where the original filter has plastic where the broken/gap is on the Waterdrop filter. The part that actually interfaces to the water in and out is also different. Shame on Waterdrop for claiming compatibility - it LEAKS!

Unfortunately I had high hopes this brand will work. I was completely wrong. The top is slightly larger that makes it useless. It will not engage or snap into place. I waited too long, otherwise I would have returned it. Please check the fit if you order and maybe you will be luckier than I. So disappointed 😞

Easy install snip your line, stick both ends in until you see the grey tabs pushed up and a click, stick your blue lock collars on amd you plug it in and done! Viola! You have bacteria free water. Great build quality and i love that it is install and forget it for 50 years. Great lifespan that can't be matched.

After researching the best under-sink water filtration systems, I decided to go with the WaterDrop 8-stage tankless Reverse Osmosis system. I also purchased the optional mineral filter to enhance the water’s taste. During installation, I realized the 1/4” tubing needed to connect the mineral filter was missing. This could have caused a delay, but thankfully, I was assisted by Olivia from Customer Support. She promptly followed up on my order and coordinated with the warehouse to expedite the shipment. Now that everything is installed, the system works flawlessly. I even added a small hot water tank, so I get both room temperature and hot filtered water instantly. I’m very satisfied with the product and the customer service I received. Big thanks to Olivia!
